We had this last night and really enjoyed it. Only had time to marinate it for a few hours. We used 4 Delmonico's. Definitely has a black pepper spiciness, so if you're not big on so much spice, you may want to cut back. We will definitely make this again. Thanks!

Simple on-hand ingredients. I let mine marinade overnight. Awesome flavor, no need for steak sauce. Thanks for sharing.

This marinade was good and all the flavors worked well for me. Still, with all those ingredients, I felt it should have been amazing, and it wasn't. Russian dressing and Montreal steak seasoning is still the best marinade for steak in my book, and much easier to make.

I dont eat meat but all my friends do. I made this recipe and marinated overnite. I left out the liquid smoke and cayenne pepper and all my guests think it is AWESOME. I have made this several times. I usually use sirloin or ribeye kabobs.

The flavor was odd and completely overpowered the meat. I followed the recipe exactly. With a cut like this less is more.

This recipe is awesome!! The smell is strong but believe me its good. I promise, you wont be disappointed. I have yet to try this marinade with rib eye (its marinading overnight), but I did try it with skirt steak. The measurments are too much for 2 steaks...its more for 4. But other than that your good. enjoy.

This was FABULOUS! I am forever in search of great marinades and this was by far one of the best that I have tried from this site. I used reduced sodium soy sauce, didn't add any salt and used brown sugar instead of honey. I marinated this for about 26 hours. Next time, I'll probably marinate my steaks for longer to get more of the fabulous flavor from the marinade. No steak sauce needed with this steak! Thank you Angie!

This marinade gives a great flavor to the meat. It makes enough for twice as many steaks (at least) so be sure to scale down unless you are cooking for a group.

Really good marinade! I especially like the sweetness from the honey. They do have a tendency to burn, so watch closely. Mine needed about 5 minutes on each side for medium well.

Although this marinade has a good taste, it is very low-key and not quite bold enough for us. My husband and I were both breaking out the steak sauce for these.

I loved the flavor of this marinade! It was kind of sweet and the garlic was nice. It was a nice change from the dry rub I normally use for steaks.

It was very good although it may be more appropriate to use this marinade with a lower quality piece of meat.

This is a very good "as is" recipe. Though we really liked it and would recommend it, it still isn't our all time favorite. The best yet is also on this site called "BBQ NY Strip". Check that one out also!

Made this marinade exactly as written but I was only able to marinate for 8 hours instead of overnight and the flavor was still great!! I think I might cut the amonut of honey in half the next time, i'm not a big fan of sweeter marinades. This marinade will be replacing my old. Thanks!!
