Fantastic appetizer!!! The bottoms were still a bit soggy from the wine baste at the bottom of the tray so I recommend having a serving plate/tray with some paper towels ready for when they come out. I garnished with some Garlic Powder and a dash of red pepper for a special ping. . .

I left out the egg, lemon juice, crab, and dill, and instead substituted a block of cream cheese. Also sauteed chopped mushroom stems with a little onion and garlic before adding to filling mixture. Filling holds together great and is rich and creamy. I used 3 small boxes of mushrooms and could have used some more, since I still had filling left over. Instead I put leftover filling on a little piece of rye bread with a little cucumber and some dill on top for tea sandwiches. Two-for-one!

We pretty much stuck to the recipe, only we didn't use the wine and we used imitation crab meat and these turned out wonderfully! They were delicious and were a hit at our dinner party. I will certainly make these again.

I didn't followed the recipe closely because my kitchen was not well stocked. So I used whatever was available: I used onion instead of green onion, Italian bread crumbs instead of soft breadcrumbs, and a mixture of parmesean and cheddar instead of moneterey jack. I omitted the dill, and by mistake, I mixed all the cheese into the mixture so I have to place extra on top. But you know what? It turned out great! Next time will follow the recipe more closely :-p

Absolutely phenomenal. I wasn't crazy about the dill and am experimenting for a better herb to include, but definitely will be making repeat appearances on party menus!

Only thing I did different is I used less wine in the pan and added more butter! Otherwise these are delicious!! Excellent recipe!

These were very good but I did a little tweaking. I sauteed the mushrooms in butter and garlic oil before putting them in the pan. I used Panko(Japanese)breadcrumbs because they are lighter. The presentation was very nice, my husband and son loved them...thanks

I made this recipie, with some variations for my own taste, for a Valentines supper and my bf and I both loved them, the filling was so good you could eat it plain. They turned out phenominal, we thought they tasted as good as the ones we order at Red Lobter.

This was my first attempt at stuffed mushrooms but they turned out great! I would use a little less crabmeat next time - the crab taste overpowered the cheese and mushroom tastes. These were easier to arrange than I had imagined.

These came out pretty awesome. Just a few things I added...sauteed a tiny bit garlic with the onions and lemon sauce and added salt and paorika to the mixture to give it a little needed taste/kick. I also wont add the white wine to the pan next time as they were a little too mushey for my taste. Even my grandma loved them and shes hard to impress!
