Great winter dish. Sweeter than a regular pot pie and the sage flavor brought a stuffing-like taste. I cooked the chicken like this ahead of time: put several breasts of chicken at the bottom of your crock pot then place 2 peeled, sliced apples that were dipped in lemon water over the chicken, dash of salt and pepper; cook on high for 2 hours and you'll have tender, sweet chicken to add to the pot pie, plus more apples.
