This is much better than the standard pan cooked version of this recipe. The chicken was so moist and tender. I used provolone cheese instead of Swiss. I salted the chicken along with peppering it. And I doubled the soup and milk. I thought that a whole cup of bread crumbs would have been too much, but it was perfect. My husband thought it was very good, but a little rich. The rest of us thought it was perfect.

Delicious! I used pepper, salt, onion powder, and garlic powder to season the chicken. And I used 1/2 cup bread crumbs and 1/2 cup stove top stuffing mix. It was great. My hubby said it was a recipe worth keeping!

Loved it! I think the ingredients need to be doubled for 4 breasts if you plan to use the sauce with noodles or something. I used 2 with what the recipe called for and it was just enough. Also, used cheddar and stove top stuffing. It was great!

I dusted the chicken breasts with garlic powder and added a splash of sherry to the soup/milk mix. Other than that, I followed the directions as is and it turned out great.

This was the best thing I've had in a while. So yummy...the chicken was very moist and juicy...the sauce was so creamy and rich along with the cheese. My husband comment that he liked the buttery bread crumbs. I will certainly be making this again very soon.

Sorry, Boring as written. I love good chicken, and this was way below "good eats". Tasted like the first chicken breast recipe someone cooked before they learned how to cook. Boring. Sorry, gave it a try, but no way will I save this one.

Awesome recipe....my husband & son loves it and have requested that I add this to my "regularly used" recipes. The only changes I made were...I sprinkled the chicken breasts with garlic powder and seasoning salt along with the pepper. I used shredded mozza cheese (that was what I had on hand) and used a combined mixture of cream of mushroom and cream of chicken soups. I also used half & half of regular bread crumbs and Italian style bread crumbs. Rave reviews all around! Thanks for a great recipe!

I used reduced fat provolone instead of swiss, reduced fat cream of chicken & italian bread crumbs. Very good!

It's a great quick fix on the fly, however it was a little bland and the texture could have been more complex.

This recipe lived up to everyone's positive review. Most notable is the moistness of the chicken. I also appreciate the creative possibilities in the ingredients. Here are my variations: I used low fat cream of chicken soup. I seasoned chicken with pepper, oinion and garlic powder. Instead of milk I used white wine. I also mixed some dried green and red bell pepper into the soup. I served over a bed of Orzo with whole green beans on the side...quick,easy, excellent!

I love this recipe. Its only me and my husband so I only use two chicken breasts, remove the skin, season them with garlic powder and poultry season, use procutto and swiss cheese and I use white wine instead of milk. I use crackers instead of bread crumbs because thats what I usually have around. This comes out tasty and just the right amount of gravy for both chicken and rice. I will most certainly make this recipe often.

This was really good. I was a bit worried that it wouldnt have enough flavor so I did make a couple changes. First I used provolone cheese as I didn't have swiss. I placed a slice of cooked bacon on the chicken before topping with the cheese. I also used crushed Cornbread stuffing mixed which I added italian seasoning to before topping. This was very juicy and flavorful. The only thing I will do differently is I will cut the chicken down and cook it more like a cassarole next time. The whole breasts were hard to cut while keeping the topping on them.

I found this recipe in a Gooseberry Patch cookbook and fell in love! Instead of regular bread crumbs I used dry stovetop stuffing mix, something about the extra spices made it absolutely delicious!! VERY GOOD and my boyfriend keeps requesting it :)

Great recipe - I broiled it for a couple mintues at the end to add a little crispyness to the breadcrumbs. Also mixed the butter with the breadcrumbs before putting on the chicken.
