I made this exactly as directed and it was wonderful. I did have to mix the crumb sauce mixture up a bit when all was finished but still a great easy dish, real comfort food :)

This was an awesome dish! My kids absolutely loved it and it was very easy. I did add some of the ideas from others, like a slice of ham then cheese on top, and fresh mushrooms to the soup mix. Delicious!

We loved this. I followed another reviewer's advice and seasoned the chicken with garlic powder and poultry seasoning -- also used meunster instead of cheddar. I used an entire box of Stove Top stuffing. I will definitely make this again and play with the ingredients to switch it up. Thanks for sharing!

I did not like this recipe. it was too bland for may taste. I didn't tweak it any but I should have. My husband liked it because he's diabetic & maintains a no-salt, no sugar diet. I should have added salt. My adult daughter didn't like it either. She told me not to try it again.

OH EM GEE!!!!! This was soooooo delicious! I didnt tweak the recipe much but what I did, in my mind, made it yummy. Coated chicken in olive oil, salt, pepper and fresh lemon juice. The swiss was perfect!! Used 2 cans cream of mushroom soup. Added grated parmesean cheese under the layer of bread crumbs. IMPORTANT!!!! Make sure to melt butter in a bowl and gradually add bread crumbs to soak it up before applying the crumb layer. The picture does NOT give the flavor justice!! YUM YUM YUM!

My husband and 3 yr old son loved this! I personally didn't like the swiss. I didn't know until I made this I wasn't a fan of swiss cheese. Other than that though it was delicious. I think next time I will try it with slices of provolone.

It was something different and very good. I thought it was just a teeny tiny salty, but I'm pretty sure that's something that can be fixed, no problem. I will definitely make this again, my boyfriend loved it.

Delicious! My boyfriend loved this dish. I think it was the cheese that gave it that different flavor. As other readers suggested, I used dry (stove top brand) stuffing in place of the bread crumbs and all I had on hand was cream of celery soup but it came out fantastic. Thank you for sharing!

Both me and my boyfriend really enjoyed this recipe and it has been moved from recipes to try to TOP RECIPES and we'll make it often. The only thing I noticed in the recipe was that it didn't have any seasoning besides black pepper so I added white pepper, garlic salt, dill, oregano and parsley. It was fantastic.

I use stuffing mix instead of bread crumbs and typically make a lot of sauce just for dipping, but this is great! Really hits the spot when you want a little comfort food. I've made it several times to really excellent reviews!

So . . . I made this with things I had on hand. I used skinless chicken thighs. Didn't have any soup, so I used a couple packages of gravy mix. I put the chicken in the baking pan and put the swiss cheese on top. then I put half of the gravy, half a package of stuffing mix and the rest of the gravy. Oh, I also put 3 sprigs of fresh rosemary on the chicken before the cheese. It was delish!!! Even my picky husband said it was great.

I just made this the other night and to my surprised was very tasty. I loved the creamy sauce. My only suggestion is to marinate the chicken overnight so the spices and seasons will soak in. Also the chicken breasts were big and thick, so it might be best to cut them into smaller pieces or half them.
