Can't tell you how many times I've made this recipe. Soft apples in cinammony sauce - excellent. I usually use about 6 apples and keep the other measurements as is. It makes a perfect side dish with pork. Or breakfast. Or on cheesecake.......

Brilliant! This recipe was so good, we ate the apples by themselves, no ice cream needed! I substituted 4 teaspoons of all-purpose flour for the cornstarch, as I didn't have any to hand, and I added in the rest of the raisins I had. A really great recipe, thank you!

Made these to go with the ham for Easter. It was delicious and so easy! I couldn't quit picking at them when I was cleaning up the kitchen, even though I was stuffed!

Really good - family loved these with the Dutch Baby I pancake recipe on this site. I might cook them a little longer next time, so they would be a little more soft.

this was a very good recipe; however, I will definitely cut back on the butter. I used 2 tbsp. of butter and I could really taste it. I will probably only use 1 tbsp. next time. If you use sweet apples, I would cut back on the brown sugar. Other than that my husband and kids really liked this. They think it would be great on some vanilla ice cream. Thanks

great recipe! I cut the servings down to 2, and used a fuji apple that was too soft too eat. I cut back on the sugar to 1 tbsp brown sugar, to compensate for a sweeter apple.

Excellent Recipe! I made this as a pancake topping and it was perfect! I am going to buy some vanilla ice cream to use up the remainder later today! Next time I might try using some nutmeg or apple pie spices instead of some of the cinnamon to see if it brightens the flavors.

This was excellent and simple to make - I threw in a handful of blueberries because I had some on hand and reduced the cornstarch to 1 tsp, added extrac cinn. and a 1/2 tsp of nutmeg as others recommended. We also cut pie crust into triangles sprinkled with cinn & sugar and baked at 400 degrees. We served over vanilla ice cream and decorated with "pie crust cookies"...next time I will use less brown sugar as it was a tad too sweet when combined with the ice cream

Next time, I'll have to use 2 Tblsp butter and 1/4 cup brown sugar. This was really good but also really sweet for my taste in the morning.
