This was easy and delicious! I substituted kielbasa for the Italian sausage and grilled it on the grill before slicing and adding to the pan. I also used fresh spinach instead of frozen...cooked just long enough to soften. Will certainly make again.

This was very easy and pretty tasty. My husband really liked it. Next time I will use fresh spinach instead of frozen. It makes WAY more than 4 servings, though. We had a large dinner and enough for at least 4 additional servings.

Great meal for the family, everyone liked it, even my picky eater! Other recipes like this have the heavy cream I was glad to find this recipe using the ls chicken broth instead.

Fantastic, light sauce with tons of flavor, great color and plate appeal. Two dishes to wash doesn't hurt either. The only change I made was to use fresh basil instead of dried because I had one and not the other. My fiance' proclaimed it "resturaunt quality" as she devoured a plate of it. Quick, easy, delicious, made with common ingredients, pretty and light. This one is going into our regular rotation. Thanks Tammy for a great recipe.

I thought the sauce was a little thin, but overall had good flavor! I used pork sausage, but I think I will use turkey sausage next time to cut back on the fat.

I substituted to suit what I had on hand & added mozz cheese on top. My husband said it was one of his favorite pasta dishes ever. Very good- thanks!

Like all other recipes I modified. I used chicken and shrimp instead of sausage. I did not have sausage. Also I used potato water (my grandma told me to never throw away the water used with potaoes) which is a natural thickening agent. It was a little watery, so I too cooked it for 15 minutes and did have to add a little cornstarch. Thanks for the this foundational recipe. It turned out really good!! Have a 6 and 4 year old who loved it.

I gave 5 stars bc of some modifications I made. It probably would have been a little watery so I allowed it to reduce for 15 minutes and added lust a little flour to thicken the sauce. I also added some chopped roasted red peppers. I didn't have any frozen spinach, so I had to use canned. It was great! My 5 year old son ate it up and my husband (who is a pasta critic, lol) LOVED it. Next time I will use italian turkey sausage, for the fat content.

When I read the recipe, it seemed like it had great potential. After eating it, however, I was disappointed to find that it was bland and watery. Even worse, the leftovers smell awful! I was not impressed.

Had extra sausage on hand, half sweet & half hot, about a lb but next time will use more. Easy to make and the only changes I made was I used beef broth rather than chicken, used diced tomatoes with garlic, onion & oregano and added a pinch of red pepper flakes with black pepper. Turned out excellent, kids and husband loved it. Definitely will make again. Thanks for the recipe.

Good, basic recipe! I used whole-wheat pasta and I really liked it. I also added some mozz. cheese at the end, which in my opinion never hurts :) I only had a 16oz. package of frozen spinach, so I used that and it came out beautifully (but we really like spinach.) I used turkey sausage, as well, and used 1 1/2 lbs because I needed to use some up. All in all, fantastic dinner and I can't wait for the leftovers at lunch. Thanks for sharing!
