I took this appetizer to a party last night and the mushrooms were gone before anything else. I also had several people (including the men) asking for the recipe. It was a huge hit.

This recipe kicked! I made it twice in two weeks for separate parties and everyone loved them. I already shared the recipe with four different people. I did not need to change a thing.

I used mild pork sausage and blue cheese. Awesome dish!

Great appetizer and easy to make. I used the filling in some small phyllo tart shells as well for those who don't like mushrooms using the same baking time/temp. I also used turkey sausage instead of pork and added extra Cajun seasoning to spice it up.

Everyone loved these at our New Years party. They didn't have anything besides sliced Swiss at the store so I used the cheese I had on hand which was 1/2 Mexican blend and 1/2 blue cheese. They tasted great.

This is the best stuffed mushroom I have ever had! I had no Swiss, so used Cheddar. I took these for lunch at the pool at our Club for my g'kids and even they loved them. Also have used Swiss, and Brie, and they are drop dead good, tho Cheddar was best!
