This was good. I used whole wheat penne, 2 links of mild italian sausage, 2 links of sweet italian sausage, and more parm cheese than mozz (I ran out). I added mushrooms, which was really good. I added all the spices suggested but did it to taste. I will make this again since I usually have all the ingredients on hand.

This tasted like a Lasagna, except it was much easier and quicker to make. One time I didn't have mozzerella and used cheddar instead and it was still delicious!! You could do so much with this recipe by substituting ingrediants.

I substituted some leftover spaghetti sauce for the tomato sauce (maybe 1 1/2 cups) and our family loved it. I see us making this recipe often.

This was terrific. I added a tsp. of red pepper flakes and 1 tsp. of Italian seasonings to add some heat and wow it spiced it up to perfection!! Thanks for the recipe it was easy & fast.
