Good stuff! Very much comfort food, and very easy to make. It was very creamy and filling, but a bit salty. I did turn bake temp up to 375 for the first 45 minutes, and I mixed my sausage in (rather than layering it). I also used a package of French Onion dip (an all-natural brand with no MSG or other weird unpronouncable stuff) and mixed with the sour cream, rather than a container of pre-made dip. I would recommend. It is a nice change of pace from the usual corn-flakes-on-top potato casserole.
