Good recipe. I wouldn't recommend adding any salt, though, the sausage itself was salty enough, and if you use biscuits from a canister, they too, have more than enough salt.

This was delious and a family favorite. Depending on how your family eats this will only feed 2-3 people so you might want to double this if you have good eaters. I would and have recommended this recipe. Thank you so much for sharing!!

I can't make gravy...at all, but this recipe is so easy and tasty. We have this for breakfast 2-3 times a month and it always turns out great. Only thing I do differently is cutting the milk down to 3 c. instead of 4 otherwise it isn't as thick as we like. Thanks Bonnie for this wonderfully easy recipe.

Definitely a keeper! I too used bacon grease instead of margarine. Put this over Quick Biscuits (recipe on this site) and there was nothing left! Should have made more.

This was great! I believe I used less fat than the recipe called for (didn't measure) and I had to add more flour to thicken to a consistency that we prefer. I only used three cups of milk, but did use one pound of Jimmy Dean all-natural sausage! It was delicious with biscuits and eggs for dinner.

Such an easy recipe to follow. I made a few changes though and added only half the milk. It was delicious!

This recipe was easy to make and tasted DELICIOUS! My whole family loved it. We gobbled it up. I only changed a couple small things - I DID NOT add the extra butter - it had plenty of sausage grease. I did add LOTS of pepper and added a few other spices. A little thyme and a little garlic powder. Just kept adding until the flavor seemed right. I can't say enough good things about this recipe! YUM!!!

wow this is great, I had to cut the recipe because it was only for 1 person. I used turkey sausage instead of pork since I don't eat pork and it turned out just as delicious thanks so much!

Fantastic! This is VERY easy and turns out great. I double the recipe for big family brunch gatherings (15-20 guests). I make it one batch at a time in a pan on the stove and when it's at the thickness I like, I pour it into the crockpot on the WARM setting. Then make the second batch and add it to the crockpot.
