These baked up beautifully and were the perfect consitency. As written, I gave 5 stars for the kids...they loved them! I have a daughter with egg allergies, so without pancakes, waffles, or anything with whole eggs, it is difficult to find a special breakfast for her. This was it!!! If I was making these for me, I would give it a 4 star rating. I would definately add some onions, peppers, and chopped mushrooms to the sausage as it was cooking. But what a great basic recipe with endless possibilities. I plan to freeze a few to have on hand for a satisfying breakfast on the go!!!

Excellent! I followed the recipe exactly using fat free half & half instead of the milk and Hot sausage. I ended up with 18 regular sized muffins and 24 minis. These are really drop biscuits in a muffin cup but really good. I look forward to enjoying them with my hard boiled eggs tomorrow for breakfast! Thanks!

OH MY GOSH!!! These are wonderful!! I made them two different ways - once in a mini-muffin pan so the muffins actually resembled sausage balls, second as large over-sized muffins. Both were delicious. My family loved them. These are really better than any sausage ball recipe I have ever used and will replace all others!

EASY, QUICK, and YUMMOS....as my six year old would say. Extremely portable...great for taking on a trip or to the office.
