I have made this for work several times and it is a huge hit! No problems with them tasting just like biscuit. Although, a coworker tried making them and she said they didnt taste as good. Make sure to use Buttermilk Biscuit Mix and I rub butter on my finger tips to roll the balls.

I made these for a tailgate party. My husband thought they were the best things ever. I ask for a friend's honest opinion on them and she said they were "ok". I think they are a bit "bready" and that part needs to be cut back on. Also, I think the addition of a spicy sausage would be better. I like them though. Thanks for the recipe!

These were just ok, kinda tasted like a McDonalds sausage and cheese biscuit, but it really didn't look like it. Only one of the3 kids ate a whole one (he actually ate 5, I said, "boy, yo umust really like them" his reply 'I'm just hungry". I had A LOT left over. I know I won't make this again, it tasted pretty good, but if the kids won't eat them, it's not worth it.

These are really tasty and a great on-the-go breakfast but I made them with only 2 cups of bisquick and they still came out too doughy. Next time I make them, it will be even less bisquick and more cheese. The sausage flavor is very light so you might want to add some seasoning. I also reccomend you turn them over once during cooking to brown both sides. Next time I'll shape them into patties and not balls.

I used spicy sausage and cut the water down to 3/4c. They turned out great! A big hit at our New Years party! I made some dipping sauce to go with them. Will definitely make again!

First of all, I must say, that my expectations of what this recipe would be were far different than what the recipe turned out like. I thought it would have much more of a sausage taste & texture as opposed to a biscuit taste and texture. I should have been clued in by the amount of Bisquick it called for because as other reviewers said, there was far too much of a plain biscuit taste. I think I would either double the sausage or cut the Bisquick in half if I made them again. And yes, they were extremely sticky to work with and try to roll into balls. They were ok - not the worst thing I've ever made, but definitely not the best. Perhaps with some tweeking, I will play around with this recipe again to try to make it more to our liking.

Awful! Next time (if there is one) I will use spicy sausage and more. Very bland. Too much of a plain biscuit taste!

To amke easier to roll out add a little flour to your hands. This will keep them from sticking to your hands. I love this dish.

It was delicious. It was tough to roll them into balls. They were sticking to my hands. any suggestions as to make that easier would be helpful. I would defenitely make it again and probably use a sauce to dip them in.
