This was pretty good but I think we will either leave the broccoli out next time or run it through the food processor so the pieces are much smaller and less noticeable. When my daughter saw the "green" she was done. Sausage was definitely a good choice of meat over the standard ground beef I used in the past.

I also used chicken here instead, and Jumbo shells at the suggestion of others here. It was a little too much broccoli for my husbands taste, I reduced the red sauce a little, but didn't really need to since it's poured over top anyway.

Loved the recipe! I used chicken instead of sausage and skipped the parmesan since I didn't have any on hand. It tasted great! Next time, I'll use less red sauce as it was a bit over-powering of the other flavors. But this is definitely a keeper!!

Very good, only a 4-star rather than 5-star because I'm not a huge lover of broccoli and there was a ton of it in here. Lots of fun to make, as well. Highly recommended!

The broccoli seemed a little out of place on the first bite, but it really is very good. I will most likely make this again with spinach or spinach and broccoli. Also, I'm definitely going to undercook the noodles next time to prevent tears...maybe 5 minutes. They can finish cooking in the oven. Thanks!

This was great!! I thought the cottage cheese would be overpowering, but it wasn't. I used a cup more sauce and sweet italian ausage links with the casing removed (1.24 lbs). The flavor was great, and three of us ate the whole thing!

This meal is always a hit with my family. It also freezes really well so I always make a double batch for later.

This was my first time stuffing manicotti. I cooked it first, cooled it, drained, and dried it on paper towels. After ripping the 1st 2, I found that if I stood them up on end while filling, it worked nicely. Recipe made 12...9 fit in the big pan and put 3 in a smaller dish I froze. I think you could be flexible and add frozen spinach or cooked shredded carrots to sneak more or different veggies in. I used lean ground beef and just a little more cheese. Toddler and teenager really liked...husband thought broccoli was wierd but knows he needs to start eating better so he said make it again!
