INGREDIENTS

  • 1 (16 ounce) can sauerkraut, drained and rinsed
  • 1/4 cup sweet pickle relish
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon prepared mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon caraway seed

DIRECTIONS

  1. Combine all ingredients in a saucepan; cook on low heat until heated through. Serve over hot dogs.

Served this over beer brats with a slice of jalapeno cheese. WOW was it good!

What a great way to dress up regular sauerkraut! I served this on Seattle Cream Cheese Dogs from this site and it was so good. Didn't change a thing!

Very good. I will make this again. Instead of the pickle relish and prepared mustard, I substituted hot dog relish.
