Awesome recipe, although I don't use the vanilla. I found it was troublesome the last time I tried it, but I love the taste of this one. I microwave it or do in on the cookstove and love it. ;)

I had to use up 1 oz. each of a semi-sweet and unsweetended baking bars. Melted it in the microwave using a total of 3 T. corn syrup to compensate for the unsweetened chocolate. Very nice and not too sweet, just as we like it! Thank you.

Would give this 10 stars if I could. The kids fought over the bowl. 45 seconds in the microwave followed by about 30 seconds of vigerous stirring worked perfectly. Used to top chocolate brownie cake from this site. Will definitely make again!

It tasted pretty good but after refrigerating, even putting it in the microwave won't melt down the frosting. It's very hard if you put it in the fridge.

Very good glaze. I used it on the Too Much Chocolate Cake recipe from this site. I got requests to make that cake again at our next family gathering. My daugher also took it to school for her colorguard banquet. I love how easy it is to make the glaze with no double boiler, one reviewer told us how to just pop it in the microwave for 45 seconds, then go straight to 15 second increments if it's still not melted when you stir it. Good tip because my chocolate never comes out right when I try to double boil.

Made this in a double boiler and followed the directions exactly. It came out perfectly and was delicious. I used it to top the Garbanzo Bean Cake.
