Simple and yummy. Tips: When cooking with chocolate, the quality of the chocolate will hugely impact the quality of the finished product. In other words, USE GOOD CHOCOLATE! I used giradelli chips, but you could also use your favorite kind of baking chocolate in squares or chips. But a warning, there is no point using good chocolate if you're then going to use a microwave. Microwaving breaks down chocolate and hurts the chemical composition. If you don't have a double boiler, use low heat on the stove. It will still take only a few minutes to make this and the result will be far better.

So easy and it tastes lovely!!! It spreads beautifully too; "satiny" is the perfect name! This one is a keeper.

Great chocolaty glaze. Next time I may add just a tad more corn syrup so it doesn't 'glob' when drizzling. I drizzled this on the edge of the German Sweet Chocolate Cake I, and it was a lovely addition.

Yum! I didn't have corn syrup so instead, I used 1 tbs sugar and 1/4 tbs water. It worked just fine! At the suggestion of others, I also made this in the microwave. I put it in for 30 seconds then stirred, another 30 seconds then stirred, then another 30 seconds and used a whisk to ensure the smooth texture. This glaze was a bit thicker than I thought it would be and when it cooled on the cake, it was almost like a fudge consistency. Because it wasn't as thin as I thought it would be, it didn't quite trickle down to the bottom part of my cake but that's okay! It still tasted great and I'll definitely use this one again!

This is the easiest glaze to make in the microwave. I put all ingredients in a bowl and microwaved on 40% power for about a minute. I stirred the glaze and it was just beautiful with perfect consistency. It looks just like the picture and is the right amount for a bundt cake. Terrific..

This was excellent!!! While I had to sub ingredients due to food allergies, this recipe would still have turned out fantastic as is. I used gluten-and-dairy-free chocolate chips, Smart Balance (dairy-free butter spread) in place of the butter, and agave syrup in place of the corn syrup. My only complaint (which is not the recipe's fault), is that the Smart Balance doesn't quite sub 1:1. I probably could have used 2 tbs. instead of 3, and it would have had a slightly better consistency). I made the whole thing in a measuring cup in the microwave, and it was the perfect for drizzling on a chocolate zucchini bundt cake. It set up beautifully, held up well even after a few days in the fridge and wasn't too sweet. Awesome recipe! Thanks!!!

Perfect and delicious! Very easy to make and it had a nice consistency. Poured over a yellow bundt cake and it make this boxed mix more "fancy". Great glaze that sets up nicely. Thanks!

I made my own double boiler using an oven-safe glass bowl placed over a pot containing an inch or so of hot water. It was easier than I expected and tasted great. I used it with the Black Magic Cake recipe from this site.

This glaze is amazing. I used it on a box chocolate bundt cake made with applesauce instead of the oil and everyone raved about it. This glaze is so easy to make yet so great. No one ever believes me when i pass on the recipe.
