I made this to top another recipe on the site (cream-filled cupcakes), and it was delicious! I love the fact it sets up quickly, but doesn't get hard/crunchy even after sitting for a night. I actually tripled the recipe and topped cupcakes, biscotti, and cookies with it. I would recommend it for anyone looking for a delicious glaze to go on nearly anything! A nice suggestion would be to add liquor or flavoring (orange, anise, or cherry) for just a hint of something extra.

This came together very well. I had a cup of mini chocolate chips so we added a little more of the other ingredients to balance out. Tasty and looked really nice on my chocolate bundt cake. I'll be using this again I'm sure. Thank you. I did cook it in the microwave and that was fine.

I followed the reviews and made this in the microwave (added the vanilla last), used this on a "fudge marble" bundt cake and came out delicious! I made the whole cake the night before, let it cool completely and refrigerated overnight. Then I let it sat at room temp for about 2 hours so the glaze wouldn't be so hard. Thanks for the recipe!

This is the best glaze ever for the bundt cake. I put it in a ziplock with a small hole in the corner and piped it on my cake. It looked so professional my husband said I should take a picture. It has a nice creamy texture.

I wish there were more stars!!!! I put this over a very disappointing cake... the glaze was such a hit! For breakfast, we ate just the glazed portions of the cake and tossed the rest. Beautiful, shiny, and SOOOOOOOOO good. I'm going to be searching for other things to put this glaze on!

This was extremely tasty and so simple. My daugher loved this with the "Too much chocolate cake". The two recipes compliment each other. I will be taking this to work, and can't wait to see the reaction.

it was really easy to make. the only thing is it came out a bit too sweet. but i think its the chocolate that i used. either way...this is a recipe keeper cause of how easy it was to make. i made a bundt cake that kind of ruined when i took it out of the mold. the chocolate sauce along with powdered sugar totally saved the day. you couldn't even tell there was anything wrong with the cake! thanks

I used this recipe to 'frost' a chocolate bundt cake. I did it in the microwave like others suggested, and it made it nice and syrupy. I put it in a zip top baggie, cut a corner off, and used that to drizzle over the cake. It looked so professional! I topped it all off with mini chocolate chips on top. It looks so decadent!I only wish I had white chocolate chips on hand to make a white chocolate drizzle on top of the semi-sweet. Next time for sure! Oh yes, and the taste is wonderful!
