This one never fails. The meat falls from the bones and the guests are always surprised when I tell them the secret ingredient is coffee. This is a huge favourite here. Thanks, Sarge!

This was outstanding!! I left out the coffee. I pulled the pork and added Sweet Baby Ray's BBQ sauce. It was certainly the best pulled pork I've ever had!! Highly recommend you try this one!

I made this for my boyfriend and he raved about it. I had never used my slow cooker before so I was a little hesitant but this was so easy! The pork fell apart it was so tender. this is a keeper.

Used pork tenderloin, because I had it, and Sweet Baby Ray's BBQ sauce. Put meat in crock pot raw and coated with BBQ sauce. Didn't add anything else. Cooked on low for approx. 6 hours. The meat just fell apart it was so moist. Barely had to "pull" the pork at all. Before serving I added more BBQ sauce and served it right from the crock pot. Received rave reviews. Even got a "Phenomenal" from my brother-in-law. Thanks!

Definitely lives up to the hype all of the other reviewers have given this. I especially liked the background flavor the coffee gives, so I would highly recommend NOT omitting that. Reduce the amount of broth if you're worried about it being too liquidy. Even better as leftovers. Thanks, Sarge!!

Very easy and very good! The pork absolutely just fell apart. I added some juice from the crock pot and Sweet Baby Rays BBQ sauce when I was done and served it on toasted buns. I will definitely make again!

This was about the easiest meal I ever made....and it was a big hit! Something about the coffee probably gives the meat a smoked flavor, and piling on Grampa Dave's Texas Chainsaw Bar-B-Que Sauce finished it off just right. Hoo-Rah, Sarge!

So good. No need to brown the pork prior to slow-cooking it. I cooked the pork on low for about 8 hours, shredded it and put it back in the pot with BBQ sauce for a couple hours. Melts in your mouth!

I've never attempted pulled pork before, so I was amazed at how great this came out. I've only ever cooked tenderloin, so I had some fear about the butt/shoulder roast. I cut a 4 lb roast in half, followed the recipe (well, I didn't have as much time as suggested, so I did 2 hrs on High and 4 hrs on low) and after "pulling" half of the roast, I realized I didn't need to shred the other half--I could actually save it to use for another meal! How awesome is that?? The roast came out so tender and half of it (2 lbs) fed 3 adults and 2 kids. Served with Restaurant-Style coleslaw and Chip Truck fries (both from this site), this was a terrific summer-time meal that I will definitely make again and again. I'm still so excited about the idea of getting two meals from a $7 roast, I can hardly stand it!! Now I just have to decide what to do with the other half...tacos, enchiladas, hmmm...Thanks Sarge!

I used a pork loin and it was great! I also put a dry rub on it before adding the liquid. It was a huge hit!

We were disappointed with this recipe. I think the key to crockpot recipes must be marinating the meat or putting on a dry rub. We used Sweet Baby Ray's bbq sauce but I don't think it would matter what sauce we used. We didn't eat the leftovers. Next time, I'll try a recipe that has a dry rub and I'll let it sit with the dry rub for a day. Maybe liquid smoke would help but I've never used it before.

I will NEVER buy pulled pork again! This is so easy and cheap to make I don't know why anyone would go and buy it already made... I put my roast in the crock pot before I went to bed last night and woke up to a fall apart tender pork roast. It almost shreds itself! Use this recipe, it's awesome! I used Big Al's K.C. Bar-B-Q Sauce from this site, both recipies are keepers!

We cooked the roast for 6 hours and then drained the liquid, shredded the meat and smothered it in "Big Al's K.C. Bar-B-Q Sauce" from this site, and let it sit on low for another half hour. Heaven!

ALWAYS A HIT! I have made this countless times now & it is great for big gatherings. I use a 5-6# pork loin & 1 can of low sodium beef broth...that's it! No coffe, no S&P, no browning it first. When it's ready to be shredded (about 8 hours on low) take the meat out & pour the liquid through a strainer to remove some of the fat. Once you shred the meat, put it back in the slow cooker and add a little of the juices back to keep it moist. I usually keep the BBQ sauce on the side, but I have added it at the end a few times too.
