Extremely simple recipe and came out delicious! Just added a bottle of BBQ sauce after I shredded the meat. It was perfect.

This turned out very well! The pork was tender and easy to pull apart. A few things I did: 1. I did not feel like brewing coffee, but I might try it next time. Instead I added about 1/3 cup cider vinegar to the beef broth. 2. While I was shredding the pork, I removed any large portions of fat. There's nothing worse, in my opinion, than getting ready to enjoy a big bite of tender meat, and instead getting a mouthful of slimy fat. At first I tried carving away some of the fat, but that took a long time. It was easier to remove after cooked. 3. The sauce. (These measurements are not exact but close.) I added 1 cup barbecue sauce, 1/4 cup ketchup, 2 teaspoons yellow mustard, and 1 Tablespoon brown sugar. Added the sauce and threw it all back in the cooker for another hour. Each person can add their own additional barbecue sauce at the table. Served with homemade rolls.

DH loved this. The butt I used was quite fatty, so spent about 30 minutes trimming it up before putting it in the slow cooker. Thank you previous reviewers. Used your suggestion and added a bottle of sauce after it was finished and kept it warm in the slow cooker. Served with coleslaw and dill pickle sandwich slices all on the buns.

This was great. I'm giving it a four, only because there wasn't anything particularly special or unusual about it. It does make great gravy for mashed potatoes. (Used a separate BBQ sauce on the pork after done cooking.)

AMAZING! I use this recipe everytime! After cooking, I shred the pork, drain most of the juice, put it back in the slow cooker, and add a bottle of my fav bbq sauce. (sometimes I add more juice back in to keep it moist) This has been a HUGE hit at all my parties.

Pork goes into crock-pot and comes out dinner. This one is a no-brainer...so delicious and easy. Toss in some BBQ sauce, put it on a bun with slaw and you've got dinner (and a few lunches). Great recipe.

This is a definite easy way of making pulled pork. It was alittle too wet for me. Because of all the natural juices from the meat, I think I would cut down the liquid next time. Still very good though.

I skipped the coffee ingredient, but followed the recipe aside from that. It was easy and great! My whole family enjoy it, and with the slower cooker it became a quick weeknight meal.

Made this to take with a bunch of friends to an amusement park. Made the day before & mixed in chipotle/beer Barbeque sauce. Packed in cooler & brought along soft kaiser buns. Made lots of sandwiches and tasted great!

The coffee and beef broth are not need. The coffee adds nothing and the beef broth makes it to soupy. All you need to do is place the pork in the slow cooker with very thick BBQ (we like Sonny's which you can buy bulk at Sam's) and let it sit on high for 5-6 hours. Shredded the pork and then put it back in on low for an hour. If you add any salt it with be to salty but a little crack pepper is nice for a spicy kick. YUMMY!

Excellent flavor! I did not have a can of broth, so I used 2 cups of water with a TBSP. of beef base and upped the coffee to 1/2 cup. I used garlic salt and coarse ground black pepper and splashed in 2 tsp. of liquid smoke (perfect addition for our tastes). Served with hickory smoked BBQ sauce, sliced sweet onion & pickles. Loved it! Thanks for sharing your recipe!

This was excellent! I was cautious because I didn't know how the coffee would make it taste, but there was no hint of a coffee type flavor. The meat was liiterally falling apart...it was so tender and smelled so good! I used pork shoulder and rubbed with salt, pepper and garlic. Thje excess fat from the shoulder portion was no big deal becasue of the tenderness of the meat it was so easy to seperate. Used KC Masterpiece barbecue sauce when it was done...eaten up in a day!

This was AWESOME! I've never made pulled pork before, but this tasted like I was a pro! I followed the recipe exactly, and at the end, drained the liquid, shredded the pork, and added a bottle of Sweet Baby Ray's BBQ sauce, and heated through. I served on hearty wheat rolls, and topped with homemade cole slaw. This was a HUGE hit with my family. Definitely a keeper!!
