This was so simple and couldn't have turned out better! I added some spices that weren't called for in the recipe and after "pulling" the pork, put it back in the crockpot with a couple cups of the cooking liquid and some barbecue sauce. Served it with the Zesty Coleslaw and Texas-Style Beans from this web site, and my family loved it. This would work great for a crowd.

So good! The meat just melted in my mouth. I added a little Liquid Smoke to give it a little extra flavor.

This recipe was most awsome. The pork turned out so,so,so tender. I shredded it and served on buns with Barbecue sauce. No more buying shredded pork at the store for this family.

I made this recipe today and was so impressed with the end results. The meat was VERY tender and moist. The hunks of meat were falling apart just lifting them out of the cooker with a fork. I followed the recipe as written (only adjusting portions because my piece of meat was larger). However, I did add a small pack of BBQ rub to the meat with the salt & pepper for a little extra kick. I cooked the meat for 3 hours on high and 2 hours on low. Perfect! I wiil make this again.

well Sarge. once again, a great big hit for dinner! i have been using this recipe for awhile now and i figured i'd finally give it what i deserves! the best, most easy pulled pork recipe! i used shoulder cut today and it was fabulous! so easy, so tender so good! did i mention easy? i just salt and pepper it, put in the beef broth and coffee...slow cook on high for about 2 hours, and low for another couple hours, and its done! thanks so much for one of our family's favorite's! i wish i could give you 10 stars!

Super easy and delicious. I made this recipe a couple years ago with a higher quality cut of pork since it was on sale and thought it was good but not great. I think the key to the tastiest BBQ pork is using the butt roast or shoulder roast (which is what I used this time). Husband couldn't stop raving about it, and it made tasty leftovers as well.

I am no cook and trust me this was easy!! I used a 5 lbs blade roast i did season it with a little salt, pepper, celery salt and onion powder and then seared it first. I did not add the coffee because i didn't have any...still tasted great. Cooked about 7.5 hrs and it shredded nicely. Added Jack Daniels Smokehouse BBQ and it was fabulous!!!

Exceeded my expectations! I can't believe such a simple recipe can be so good! Be sure to trim the fat off the pork before putting it in the slow cooker.

I tried this recipe this weekend to serve to family and friends. Everyone enjoyed it. My teenager asked me to make it again! I shredded the pork and then chopped it with a clever and refrigerated it overnight I then rewarmed it the next day in a covered casserole with some of the saved dripping added. about 15 minutes prior to serving I added BBQ sauce (just a little to moisten). Served on small kaiser rolls with BBQ and horseradish on side. Very good.

First time I've done this dish - always wanted to. No change to recipe - cooked on low for 8hrs, shredded and added Hickory BBQ sauce - served up in toasted kaiser rolls. What a taste!

This was terrific and sooo easy! I followed the recipe and after six hours, the meat was literally falling apart. I took it out of the slow cooker, shredded it, then put it back in for another hour with a bottle of Kraft Hickory BBQ sauce. I also added back in some of the broth after draining off the fat. It was delicious! We had friends over for dinner that night and they called a couple of days later wanting the recipe because they were still craving it.

Yum, this was fantastic! I absolutely love pulled pork sandwiches but there aren't many places around town where you can get one for lunch. I've never made it before but this couldn't have been any easier. I thought the coffee was weird, but I didn't taste it at all. I followed the recipe except I only used 3 1/2 pounds of pork, I cooked it for six and a half hours and flipped it halfway through. As soon as I took it out the meat fell apart completely! I used about half of a 28 oz bottle of Sweet Baby Ray's Barbecue Sauce and put it on rolls with cole slaw. Soooo good!

EZ and Pleaz-EE! I followed the directions as written (next time will take some hints from the trusty reviewers) but cooked it in a crock pot on low and added liquid smoke which was key in giving it that smokey bbq flavor. We served it with Famous Daves Tex Pit BBQ sauce on kaiser rolls- a great combo. Next time I will definitely return to crock after shredding and let it re-absorb some of the au-jus...the meat got dry quickly but had great flavor. All in all- a definite recipe to repaeat; my hubby loved it and I froze half in the au jus for a snowy-I don't want to cook-day.
