WOW!!!! This recipe is outstanding!!!! The muffins came out moist and sweet. I substituted half brown sugar, and added coconut. My fiance says these muffins are "a keeper".

I made this recipe healthier--Sub 1/2c unsweetened applesauce for the vegetable oil, 1/2c sugar instead of a full cup, and subbed in 1 cup whole wheat flour and only 1 cup all purpose flour. The result was a super moist, super yummy muffin that is PLENTY sweet!

This was wonderful, and the kids I nanny for loved them. The only thing I would change is the cooking time. They were well done at 30 mins., so I would try 25 - 30 next time.

Really good! I used 4 bananas, added cinnamon and vanilla and omitted the walnuts. Made 6 muffins and a loaf of bread.

Very very good! I added 1tsp vanilla, 1tsp cinnamon, and used 1/2 cup white sugar and 1/2 cup brown sugar. Instead of walnuts I added some coconut and chopped almonds. Will definitely make these again!

I tried several Banana bread/muffin recipes from this site and this was by far the best! I made slight substitutions - 1/2 whole wheat flour; 1/2 brown sugar; used 4 bananas, added 1 tsp. vanilla, 1/2 tsp cinnamon and a touch of nutmeg.

I think these are the best banana nut muffins I have ever had. Very moist and flavorful. I made a few adjustments due to personal preference: used half Splenda and half brown sugar, half white four and half whole wheat flour, added a tsp of vanilla and a tsp of cinnamon, used melted butter instead of oil, and added about 3/4 cup of coarsely chopped pecans. I will definitely be making these muffins frequently. For variety I'll try adding some peanut butter or add some blueberries. This is a great recipe!!

This is the best banana muffin recipe I ever tried. It's very moist, delicious. It doesn't need anything else. Intead of walnuts, I put one peanut butter hershey kiss(point down) in each muffin. It tastes so good and gives beautiful presentation. This is a keeper for sure.

Very good recipe. I lowered the sugar to 2/3C and added both walnuts and coconut--which I had never thought to add to banana muffins before. Very good and very easy. Thanks for another great recipe!

These are very moist, tastey muffins! Usually I make muffin-shaped banana bread using a bread recipe from Fanny, but this had a better consistency. For the record, about 19 minutes is all I needed for mini-muffins, in case anyone's interested. The folks at work will be pleased, and I'm glad to have not wasted very ripe bananas!

Very good! This was my first time making muffins. I used peanut butter chips instead of the nuts, and I think next time I might add a little more banana. Great recipe!

This is a great recipe. The kid's and hubby cannot keep their hands off! I did a double recipe and substituted half the white surgar with brown sugar. It still turned out awesome.
