This recipe is not only easy but fool-proof and just delicious! I did it for the first time last night just as directed, with a few minor adjustments: I used whole wheat flour instead of all purpose, I didn't have walnuts so I used cashews that were salted, so instead of using 1/2 tbsp of salt I used 1/4 and 3/4 cup of sugar instead of the full cup since most reviewers seemed to agree that a full cup wasn't necessary (next time I'll use brown sugar to see how that turns out). I also followed the advice of another reviewer and added 1/2 tbsp of vanilla and a pinch of cinnamon . They were perfect! And also, mine only needed 30 minutes, no more, no less. We loooooooved them.
