Made this for our Christmas party and it was a HUGE hit. This was the best Sangria I've ever tasted.

We omitted the lemonade concentrate, and made sure to add all the sugar called for. Wonderful!!

I made this for a dinner party. Every one of my guests loved it - even people who normally don't drink. I omit the lime, lemon concentrate, and sugar; instead of using triple sec I used Peach Schnapps; I added a little more Brandy; added apple and pear; I also did not add carbonated water. I let it sit over night in the fridge. This is a fantastic Sangria recipe - my version is a bit strong but not too sweet. Next time I would try without adding the additional Brandy.

Fantastic sangria recipe! Made this for a Superbowl party and my guests went crazy over it. I used diet 7up as a topper instead of seltzer and it made it that much better!

This is such a great recipe! Not too sweet, and makes a great presentation in a clear pitcher. Definitely a keeper on my entertaining list.

We made this for a housewarming party to serve with margaritas and chicken fajitas. Went over very well. We made it the night before so the fruit could release all of its flavor into the liquid. I think we ended up tripling the recipe and had to make it in empty milk jugs for storage. Thanks for the recipe!

I tried this recipe. I used peach brandy and I used the triple sec. I also added 2 1/2 cups ginger ale so it wouldn't be as strong. For me it is a little to strong and the triple sec gives it a taste I don't care for to much. It is a little bitter tasting to me. But,I do need to add I have never had Sangria before, so I am not saying it is not a good recipe. I was hoping for something with a smooth fruity taste.

When you use a really good spanish wine, it can make you very tipsy! I had a cook out and made Anne's fruit salsa from this website. My friends added the fruit salsa in this sangria recipe. Very very good!

Great recipe. Added apples and ginger ale instead of club soda, kept everything else the same. Thanks!

I made this last night for my book club ladies...7 outta 8 loved this drink! I used apricot brandy and peach schnapps and added strawberries…no sugar. I had club soda and ginerale on hand as mixers per the other reviews. Most went with club soda. The one gal who didn’t care for it said it was just to sweet for her…even mixing with the club soda. I can tell you I am not feeling my best today because I kept going back for more. I tripled this recipe and ran out…this is a keeper!

Left out the cherries and used peach schnapps instead of triple sec. Great recipe, but it makes a lot! If you are going to save it for a few days I suggest taking the citrus out after 24 hours.

One of my all-time favorite drink recipes -- have made for various occasions now and everyone has always been pleased. Never had sangria before this, but I'm sure nothing else will compare. I've tried this by the recipe, and also using the peach schnapps / rum swap - both are delicious, though I don't prefer triple sec quite as much. The first couple times I made it with Red Cat, bc that's the only type of red wine I know I like... however, after reading many reviews, I tried the cheaper red wine and it tastes just as delicious !!! No need to use the more expensive wine -- I'd save that for drinking it by itself. This sangria is fantastic.. thanks for the awesome recipe. PS -- guests love eating the cherries after they've been soaked for a day !
