Wow! This is a great recipe. The brandy really gives it a kick, along with all those juices and fruit. I put mine in a decorative glass iced tea jar, and it looked fabulous (plus was easy for guests to help themselves). Will definitely make again.

YUMMY! I also added apples..followed entire recipe but no carbonated water..it was perfect, sweet but not too sweet. I had another recipe last wk and it was awful! this is the right combo..I used Lambrussco for the wine, I know you can pretty much use whatever but I like specifics and this wine worked perfectly and was recommended.

I made this for a baby shower and had many requests for the recipe. One guest told me that she tried 6 or 7 recipes and this was the best she has had. I agree.

I made a double batch of this for a big gathering and everyone loved it!! I used white wine (as there were going to be kids running around and didn't want red wine drinks getting knocked over onto the carpet!) and ginger ale and it was excellent. Will definitely try with the red wine next time...when there are only grown ups around!

This Stuff is Fantastic! I followed the recipe. Put in lots of fruit, let it set over night, added ginger ale right before I served it. It was a huge hit. Even my mom, who doesn't drink much liked it.

Was trying to find an intersting drink to serve at my wedding. Adapted a bit and made berry sangria instead. Added frozen strawberry and raspberry juice. Then, put in some berry arbor mist with rose wine. Diluted it with strawberry sparkling water. Put some frozen strawberries and raspberries for an added touch. Anyone that gets married requests my berry sangria!

I used Sprite instead of carbonated water. Put in lime, orange, mar cherries, and grapes. We doubled the recipe and a party of 6 had approx 2 drinks a piece. The fruit was the best part! Chills for 24 hours before it was served. It was a hit and will make again~

Great base recipe. A little too much citrus for me though. On my second batch I followed the directions exactly, except I omitted the lemon juice, limes and lemons. Also, omitted the club soda/ginger ale. I added mangos and pears (plus the oranges) instead and it was fabulous!! I served it at a neighborhood party and it was a hit.

Delicious and STRONG! I was going to a potluck lunch at a friend's house where I didn't know the other guests. The sangria was a hit the second I walked through the door - who doesn't like sangria? After a glass of this stuff, forget about being shy! Be particularly careful measuring out the frozen lemonade as it changes the sweetness of the recipe dramatically. Think about making two batches and letting them marinate with the sliced fruit overnight. My first batch was gone really fast! Definitely worth purchasing the hard liquor.

Made a double batch and was glad I did...I forgot the OJ, I let it sit overnight, but tried a glass before bedtime and I rested well. ;-)

I use 7-Up instead of sugar and carbonated water, and I make sure to slice the fruits thickly, otherwise I find it's a little too much citrus for my taste. I've also been adding red raspberries and pineapples recently - super good!

This is always a hit. I eliminate the cherries, can't stand them, and add whatever fruit/berries I have laying around. Sliced pears, limes, oranges and whole blackberries is my favorite combination. If there's time, I like to make it the night before, and add cold ginger ale just before serving.
