They came out really tasty but a little gritty so I added a little bit of heavy whipping cream to the toffee mixture. and cooked a litter longer on the stove and in the oven because the first time the toffee was a little gritty. I linned my pan with foil, no problems there. I also added a little sprinkle of sea salt, for the sweet salty contrast everyone likes. I wonder if these would work on kettle cooked potato chips?Had to put in the freezer because after an hour the chocolate was still soft. I will be bringing these to a christmas brunch/ cookie exchange, I think they will be a hit.
