This recipe is pretty good with a few additions. I added 2 ozs of low-fat cream cheese, a can of diced tomatoes (drained), another can of red beans, a can of cannelini beans, a few shakes of chili powder, sea salt & black pepper. We topped it off with a couple teaspoons of shredded cheddar cheese. By itself, it really is lacking something. This would also be good with some chicken chunks or some lean ground beef.
