I would give this recipe five stars, but my husband said four! These were absolutely delicious!!! Very tender! I used garlic pepper, seasoned salt, and a little chilli powder to season the cube steaks. For salsa, I used mild salsa. I did not use green peppers because they are not a favorite here. I baked the steaks for about an hour and out cheese on top of each steak as soon as I took them out of the oven (the cheese melted). I served with Dirty Rice and Corn. I will definately fix these again. Thanks for an awesome recipe.

This was pretty good, but nothing memorable or too fantastic....just a good mix up from the regular stuff.

This was a fantastic quick dinner. The only thing I did differently was I sprinkled Roasted garlic and Red Bell Pepper seasoning over the peppers and onions, then topped with pineapple salsa. Next time I will top with some cheddar or jack cheese the last 10 minutes or so. A very well received dinner. Thanks Tracie!

My daughter rated this. We all agreed it was just "food" nothing out of the ordinary. I found that I did not need any extra water in the pan, but I did add it, with poor results.

My oven is broken, so I took another reviewer's suggestion, and prepared this in the crock-pot. I used peach/pineapple salsa and onions and green peppers. The meat was nice and tender, but I thought the flavor was just ordinary. Maybe it would be better if baked. My husband really liked this, but I wasn't crazy about it. Thanks anyway.

Oh my, what a fantastic recipe. The meat was tender, the sauce had just the right amount of kick for my taste and it was out of this world on the white rice. Made sting beans out of my garden and what a meal.Omitted the peppers because I didn't have any on hand and added cheese on top. Used half mild and half medium salsa. Gotta love the one pan recipes. It's a keeper. Thanks Tracie for sharing the recipe.

Although there is a lot of sauce, you could serve this in a taco, which we did, and ate them as a sort of fajita. Note: if you're trying this, do not use soft tacos, as they get soggy and easily fall apart. Left out the green pepper because of my allergy. Overall not too bad, will probably just try over Spanish rice next time.

I'm not sure why this receip got such great reviews. I followed the recipe and the meat was tough. I might attempt again but this time I'll cook at a lower temp for a longer period of time.

This was an easy meal. Everyone even my 5 year old liked it. I did change a few things though. First I marinated the steaks in garlic and olive oil then when I cooked the steak I browned them on each side before putting them in the oven. I used mild salsa since we were feeding the kids and they were not spicy at all. This will be made at my house again.

We liked this one and I will make it again. However, I didn't like the cummin, so will go with just the salsa next time. Curry might be an alternative if more spicy taste is needed. It's a good, quick dinner.

This was great! I do have a couple of suggestions. I put S/P & Cumin on the steaks and seared the meat for about 1-1/2 minutes on both sides over a high heat in a pan with a little oil. I put them in my crock pot and spread some sliced onions, zucchini, red pepper and green peppers over the meat. Here is the clincher - I put a 16 oz jar of Peach Pineapple Salsa all over that. NO Water -you get enough liquid from the salsa. I cooked them on High for 2-1/2 hours. Oh my heavens does it taste good. It really tasted that good. Be bold and try a different type of salsa, if you like eating it on chips, you should like it in this recipe. I made rice to go with it - awesome.
