I make this all the time. Delicious. Best to pound the chix a little thinner and marinate in the taco seasoning for a cpl hours prior to cooking to get flavor more through the meat. Use a nice salsa as well.

So easy to make and SO very delicious! I pound the chicken breasts and cut them in half (if they are big.) I also add about 1/2 cup of corn. Tonight I used PINEAPPLE SALSA and it was YUMMY!

This is a good recipe when you need a quick dinner idea! Lots of flavor! I don't really measure the salsa or taco seasoning...I just over the chicken breast with what looks like enough.

I have been making this recipe for years and all the kids and grownups devour it-everytime! I have played around with different variations depending on the amount of time I have to cook dinner and it is always good. I do recommend adding a little salsa to the bottom of the dish rather than greasing it. It's a guaranteed great dinner weather you have time for preparation or not. We usually have tortilla chips or Fritos with ours, helps the kids enjoy it just a little more. Leftovers are great the next day, if there are any!

Excellent :). I used chili seasoning because I didn't have any taco seasoning and it turned out delicious. The chicken was so moist. My kids (2 and 5) loved it.

I've upped my review to 5 stars, because in retrospect, this dish was very tasty considering how quick and easy it was! I did not grease the pan--instead I did what another reviewer suggested and put a little bit of salsa on the bottom of the pan before adding the chicken.

I pan fried the chicken instead of baking and it still turned out pretty good. Used Taco Seasoning I from this site and marinated for about an hour beforehand. Served with Spanish Rice Original.

This was extremely tasty. I used a little more taco seasoning and a can of petite diced tomatoes in place of the salsa. Yum!

It's a good day when both husband AND child like a new recipe. This was a success for me. I had to make my own taco seasoning(chili powder, cumin, garlic and onion powder, salt and paprika).I also used 2% colby/jack, since it was all I had. It came out beautifully. Thanks!

LOVED this recipe. Very easy and used simple ingredients I already had at home. Husband loved it. Use a really good salsa though, as that will make all the difference. Chicken was very flavorful and moist

This recipe is wonderfully simple and delicious. I, too, used a plastic zip bag into which I poured a package of Old El Paso cheesy taco seasoning. I used 6 boneless skinless chicken thighs and most of a bottle of Pace mild chunky salsa. Otherwise I followed the recipe as written. I'll be making this one regularly.

This was a good, easy chicken recipe. I think for people that love salsa, this could be a five. I pounded my chicken breasts to about 3/4 inch, so they would bake faster, took about 20 mins. at 375 deg. oven. Oh, and used a whole jar of salsa to cover three flattened, spread out breasts. I will make this again, and might try slicing up cooked chicken to put in a tortilla.

I made this in my slow cooker today and it was amazing! I actually added some cream of chicken, then added the salsa. It made an amazing sauce! My husband even liked it - and he's hard to please!
