This chicken was absolutely delicious! Very easy and quick to preper, I added my homemade taco seasoning the night before. I also reduced the salsa to only 1/2 cup and added 1/4 cup tomato sauce just because other reviewers mentioned that it was too much salsa. It turned out very juice, nice and tender. Served with mexican rice, homemade guacamole and steamed veggies.

LOVED LOVED LOVED this! F All of my kids loved it and my youngest kept telling me he loved it so much! I did make one substitutions from the original recipe and that was 2% mexican blend shredded cheese as that's what I had on hand. This is a keeper and a new regular to our meal rotation! The kids all suggested that next time I put some olives on with the cheese, and I tend to agree! Otherwise, FABULOUSLY EASY!

The only reason that I'm giving it 4 instead of 5 stars is because my boyfriend and I love spicy food, so we tweeked the recipe a tad. Instead of 4 tsp of taco seasoning, I used a whole packet and sprinkled it over the 4 chicken breasts along with a sprinkling of seasoning salt. I also added onion slices and fresh mushrooms on top of the chicken and then added the salsa. I used up 2 slices of pepper jack cheese that I had left over and also added shredded cheese (mexican style blend). My boyfriend and I really liked it! We ate it with sour cream on top, mexican rice, and tortillas. We ended up ditching the tortillas and just ate the chicken! I would definitely make this again!

The quality of this recipe is determined mostly by the salsa and taco seasoning you use. When made with homemade taco seasoning and homemade salsa, it's phenomenal. My husband calls this "Mexican Chicken Parmesan"... even with the cheddar/mexiblend cheese, it makes him think of a Mexican version of the popular Italian dish. Like others, I serve with Mexican-style rice and corn.

Honestly, I wasn't expecting too much with this recipe, but, I was pleasantly surprised! It had a wonderful flavor! The chicken was moist, juicy, and so flavorful! As some others did, I dredged the chicken in packet of taco seasoning like you would bread crumbs instead of just sprinkling it on. It was also great as leftovers the next day!

This was so easy and incredibly delicious. My whole family loved it. I used Taco Seasoning I and served it with Mexican Rice II, both from Allrecipes. I will definately make this often.

This is a very easy and tasty recipe. I have already made it a few times. I cook just as the recipe says. Although sometimes I cut up the chicken to cook faster

This recipe was okay but nothing special. The chicken was tender but too much salsa...it overwhelmed the flavor. I probably will not be making this again.

Yummy! This is such an easy and tasty dinner. Very flavorful, and the chicken was not dry. I will be making this a lot. Next time I might add some lime juice.

I made this lastnight and it was absolutely delicious. The chicken was moist and flavorful. I served it with black beans and white rice and put the juices in the pan from the chicken over the rice. This will be a family favorite.

Started the chicken over half an hour ago and it is still not thoroughly cooked. I'm thinking 45 minutes -one hour would be more accurate.

I usually don't give bad reviews, but this was just not very good. My boyfriend, who is the nicest man on the planet, could only say, "it is just nice to have a home-cooked meal." I liked all the ingredients, but together they just didn't do anything special.

Although I enjoy cooking, I am not very fast in the kitchen. So I am always looking for SUPER EASY and DELICIOUS recipes. Well, this is definitely just that. My husband and I LOVE this one! The chicken always comes out very tender with wonderful flavor following the recipe exactly as it reads. Thank you, Faye!
