This was a pretty good easy dinner option, plus I was able to make it with what I already had in the house. To make it a little healthier, I halved the amount of cheese, used brown rice and skipped the cream of chicken soup. Turned out great and leftovers are easy to reheat.

Nothing too exciting to report on this one. I've made it on two different occasions, and each time I've made a mental note that I shouldn't make it again. The dish and its colors are pretty unappealing on the plate, and the flavors aren't bad, they just aren't really particularly good. I think if you found the right combination of ingredients to add to jazz it up, it would could definitely be improved, but I like to base my reviews on recipes as written, and this one is middle of the road.

This recipe turned out good tasting, but it was too soupy for me. I know I will make it again, but I will put more chicken in it. Thanks for showing this recipe to me.

Really good. I sauteed the onions before in a little olive so the onions wouldn't be crunchy. I also bought medium salsa, scared it would be too spicy I used some tomato juice in place of some of the salsa. Definitely will cook again!

This recipe is the best! My whole family loves it. I cut it in 1/2 for my family of 4. I also mix everything except the cheese together in a bowl instead of layering like the recipe says, it makes everything taste more moist.

This was great! Didn't change a thing. I can see it being very good for variations, particularly in the soup. I followed another reviewer's suggestions and cooked the onion, chicken, soups and salsa together to save on washing up! Thanks. UPDATE: I tried this in the slow cooker last night and it turned out great! Follow the recipe but reserve some of the chicken mixture for the top then sprinkle with the cheese. Set slow cooker to LOW and cook for about 7 hours. Perfect!

This is a good base recipe. I used 2 cans cream of chicken soup, no mushroom soup. I also used 2 cans of Rotel rather than salsa, added a can of black beans, green chilis, some cumin & chili powder. I mixed everything together rather than layering it and it turned out great.

This is a really great recipe! I only used half the chicken (leftover grilled) and it was great. My two-year-old liked it as well. I served it with a spinach salad and steamed carrots- certainly a winner!

Tried this with my family and its a keeper. I substituted cream of celery for mushroom since my boys don't like mushrooms and all who tried loved it

I cooked jasmine rice in chicken broth, grilled my chicken and some mushrooms (using taco seasoning on the chicken). I only ended up using 1.5 chicken breasts for the whole meal - that was plenty! I added sauteed onion/garlic/cumin to the soup mixture and added fresh cilantro. I chopped up my grilled mushrooms to add. SO DELICIOUS!

Quick and Easy! Since we like things a bit spicy, I added some hot sauce and about 1 TB cumin. Combined everything but the cheese into the baking dish then topped with cheese. Served with more hot sauce and sour cream. Yum...

This was soooooo good the first night and as leftovers! I followed the advice of others and 1) halved the recipe for just my BF and I 2) sauteed onions 3) used a whole can of drained Rotel 4) added a can of rinsed, drained black beans. I also mixed everything together and then put it in the oven. You should def try this!!

this was really good, but it makes a LOT. Only two of us, one of which is lactose intolerant...so guess who ate all the leftovers which took a week...this gal! i'll maybe consider halving the recipe next time.

Really yummy! I made it exactly according to the instructions, and it turned out great. While it was a little heavy on the rice, we're a rice-loving family so it suited us just fine. Not the ideal meal if you're on a weight loss diet, though... which I am so that kind of sucked. But the taste and ease of preparation are superb!
