Just tried this for supper and it's good. Next time I would sautee the onions first as they were raw this time. Definately try again.

My family loved this casserole! I made it exactly as the recipe said to except I cooked the chicken in my slow cooker for about 4 hours on medium then shredded it with a fork. My family likes the chicken moist and tender better. This was great!

This dish was FANTASTIC! It was full of flavor and very satisfying. Instead of using chicken breasts, I used drained, canned chicken, which worked well. We can't wait to have this one again!

This is so yummy! I have used just cheddar when I don't have monterey jack & it is just as good. So easy & the whole crowd loves it over tortilla chips.

This was quite delicious, thought I cut up and browned the chicken in skillet. I don't care for boiled meat. Used Basmati rice. and of course Pace Hot for the salsa. This turned out quite yummy.

This was great! I made a few changes based on the other reviews. I added green chiles and Rotel tomatoes. I also used a medium salsa and cut back on the cheese. Delicious!

Quite tasty. Good to try. I thought there would be too much sauce but it held together well on the plate. Nice texture. I did not have mild salsa so used hot, I think I would also try adding some veg next time, like corn or kidney beans, perhaps even green beans.

I made this with brown rice and I am guessing the brown rice doesn't have the volume of white rice. It turned into a runny mess..but with good flavor. Next time I will use white and add another chicken breast as I didn't think it had enough.

I browned the chicken and then added everything to that pan to mix before placing in a baking dish. I also added some frozen corn but only used one can of mushroom soup and did not use all the cheese recommended to try and reduce the amount of fat. It was easy and turned out great.

I made this the other day for my 17 year old son. He told me "I out did myself". Well that gives this recipe a 5 star review in my book. My son is the most picky eater ever. Thanks for a great recipe. By the way I did not layer it. I mixed it all together except the cheese. I topped it with the cheese and baked.

Good recipe - will be making for guests this week. Try it w/ cream of celery soup. I think we forget that there are other "flavors" of soup and use mushroom too often. Also, start with a deli chicken for ease of preparation and more taste.

I don't get all the 5-star reviews. I followed the recipe pretty much as stated, except I added a can of mild diced green chilis. Overall, it was just gooey, goopy and not that exciting. First time ever that my hubby didn't grab seconds. It would be better if we used it as filling for quesadillas or burritos. I probably won't be making this again.

This is great! I changed things a bit too and tried to make it a little healthier. I made brown rice in one pot and then boiled chicken in 1 can of chicken broth (14 oz) in a separate pan. I added frozen corn, green peppers and onions to the chicken broth. When that was all cooked, I layered the pan with rice, salsa and cream of chicken soup (only 1 can), then chicken (drained the broth) and topped with reduced fat mexican cheese (8 oz package). Was very good- probably only needed to be in the oven for about 15 or 20 minutes because the chicken was a little overcooked, but overall will make it again!

This is so good and so easy! I too cut the cheese in half, and sautee the onions. IF we have any left over, the next night I make burritos and again it's wonderful!
