Very simple and easy to make. Hubby loved it! I did use chicken tenders instead of chicken breasts (they were on sale) and I also reduced the taco seasoning mix to 3 Tablespoons. Will make again. Thanks.

I also used the crock-pot for my chicken and the chicken turned out very moist. i did add some water though to keep it from getting dry.. this was very good you could use for soft tacos, burritos, almost any Mexican food. Thanks!!!

I made this in the crockpot by putting 3 frozen chicken breasts in and pouring the rest of the ingredients on top. Then I cooked it for 3.5 hours on low, shredded the chicken, and let it cook on low for another hour. Turned out perfect.

Great recipe; however, I really thought they were too salty. I had even halved the amount of taco seasoning. Next time, I would go with low sodium taco seasoning (as recommended previously). I also made the "Easy Never Forgotten Guacamole" and put that in the burrito as well, along taco cheese, sour cream, salsa, and iceburg lettuce. It definitely needed all that to help cut down the saltiness a bit. Overall though, the taste was excellent. My husband loved the burrito and so did I. I will definitely make this again.

Excellent dish used it at a potluck and worked and everyone wanted the recipe. Used garlic powder didn't have fresh garlic in hand - still tasted GREAT! :)

Quick, easy and good! I used only about 1 Tablespoon of taco seasoning and it was plenty flavorful, but not overpowering. We built burritos with chicken, cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, rice and sour cream. Good!

This was really easy to make. I didn't use all of the taco mix. I think it would be way too salty.

Excellent! I used the 'Taco Seasoning I' recipe (on this site) instead of the store packet, and omitted the cumin and chili (it's already in the seasoning). Mixed this with the tomatoe sauce and salsa and poured it onto the chicken in a slow cooker. After shredding the meat, I added a can of refried beans and heated that through in the slow cooker. Put mixture in large burrito style shells, added tomatoe, some more salsa, and cheddar cheese. Wrapped 5 of these and placed in 9 x 13 baking pan, topped with enchilada sauce, green onions, monterey jack and cheddar cheese. Baked at 375F for about 15 minutes, and voila!

I have to say this is the 1st recipe that my husband & children loved! I made a few changes: I added salt and did not use too much cumin and hot sauce. I also used the filling in tortillas and cooked it in a 9X13 dish sprayed and coated with salsa. Spread more salsa on top and added cheddar cheese. Baked covered for 15 min. then uncovered for 5 more min. Delish!!

Absolutely delicious, this will be my always go to chicken filling!

I just got done eating this meal and it was delicious! I had to add some extra water (about 1/4th cup) because it did dry out but the final outcome was so yummy!!!

This was so good! I'm a beginner cook and this was super easy but tasted great. My husband was very impressed and happy to have a new regular meal idea. The only change was that i used garlic powder instead of garlic cloves (simply out of laziness!).

A little salty, but very good--I've made it several times, and I like it a lot better with low-sodium taco seasoning!
