My husband and I loved this one. Instead of taco seasoning we used Chipotle seasoning. We also used ancho pepper and honey salsa. These two changes made the recipe more smokey and less spicy. I had to add a lot of water to keep it from drying out.

EXCELLENT DISH-WE USED THE FILLING IN WARM TORTILLAS WITH LETTUCE, CHEESE, TOMATOES AND FRESH CILANTRO. I WOULD MAKE THEM A LITTLE DRIER NEXT TIME IF I FIXED THEM THE SAME WAY, BUT DELICIOUS

Made in crock pot, cooked on low for about 4 hours, used about 10 oz of tomato sauce to curb the saltiness a lot of reviewers wrote about, I also added 3/4 of the packet of taco seasoning and ommitted the hot sauce so my daughter could eat it. Served it with spinach tortillas, refried beans, cheddar cheese & brown rice.

This was good, but next time I will precook & preshred the chicken and THEN add to the sauce. Much easier and less messier!

This recipe was so yummy I wanted to lick my plate clean! However, it was a bit difficult to continuously pull apart the chicken in the pot! I would recommend shredding it before cooking it over the stove!

This was delicious! I made it in the crock pot, as others suggested. About an hour before we ate, I checked on it, and it was pretty dry, so I mixed in almost an entire can of chkn broth, and it made all the difference! So succulent! Definitely a keeper! Thanks for the recipe!

This was very good and easy to make. I added a can of black beans to the filling after it was finished cooking. Add water as needed to adjust the sauce consistency.

I made some little changes.... before adding the meat, sauted chopped onion, garlic and green bell pepper to give more flavor. I had to use ground meat 'cause my mom doesn't like chicken :( ....but it worked perfectly!! Also made my own taco seasoning from this site and was soooooo good (taco seasoning I..... highly recommended!!!). A keeper!!

I didn't think this was much better than just cooking with taco seasoning as normal

I didn't use quite as much chili powder, but this was a keeper. My family who likes spicy, as well as me who doesn't care for too spicy, all enjoyed this recipe.

This is a great recipe! I loved the seasoning exactly as listed. The only thing I'll do differently next time is pre-chop the chicken since shredding it was pretty difficult/time-consuming and I don't mind chunks of chicken in burritos/tacos/tostadas. Yum! Thanks for the great recipe.

This made very tasty chicken! I like things spicy so I added jalepenos and I used one package of chipotle taco season. Everyone loved it! Thanks!

Very good and I was happy that it was so quick. I would prefer more tomatoes, so I think next time I'll add a can of Rotel tomatoes & chiles.

5 stars all the way! This was so easy and tasty. I made mine in a crock pot and the chicken almost shredded itself. Instead of the tomato sauce I used a can of Ro-tel's tomato and green chilis. It makes it extra spicey the way we like it. I will make a bigger batch of this next time and freeze it. Thanks

I liked this alot, but I modified it alot as well. Added a can of corn, about 1/2 cup of cooked black beans and about 1/2 cup of cooked rice. Omitted the salsa, as I didn't have any, just used a little water instead. Also, used enchilada sauce instead of tomato sauce (didn't have that either!) only used about 1/2 of the taco seasoning, and kicked up the spice with some cayenne pepper. Overall, it was pretty good!!
