Salmon Pasta Salad
SUBMITTED BY:
Mary Dennis
"This recipe was one of my husband's favorite ways to enjoy salmon. I've had it so long I don't even remember where it came from originally. This salad is a nice light meal for a hot summer day, and it lets the salmon flavor come through. -Mary Dennis, Bryan, Ohio"

I took a risk and made this dish when it had no rating or reviews. We made it for a couple that we were entertaining and it was a big hit. The dressing was very complementary to the salmon. A great chilled dish for those hot summer nights.

very nice and light. I didn't want too much but I had salmon to use so I used the 2 cups of salmon and cut back on everything else so I didn't quite make the exact recipe. Could use just a bit more zip, perhaps some red wine vingar. But all in all, very nice.

I loved this pasta salad. I make it for my lunches at work during the summer. I used canned salmon instead of fresh because it is a lot easier. A wonderful recipe that I will make again and again.

Not 'to die for' but defineately very tasty. I recommend this recepie if you want something that tastes quite different from your standard mayo salads. I also added some chopped red bell pepper and sliced mushrooms which worked nicely.

I made this several times with leftover salmon and used whole wheat noodles, 1/2c olive oil and added marinated artichoke hearts. One time when I didn't have the cherry tomatoes, I used canned diced tomatoes and rinsed them,I added the juice... still yummy. I have added diced carrots, edame. Whatever you like. I have to double this. I omitted the lettuce but my niece gets lettuce out and loves it with. This is a keeper, my husband goes to Alaska and I am always looking for salmon recipes.

I was searching for a light, summery pasta salad with salmon, and this was perfect. I didn't have fresh dill and substituted dried Italian seasoning. I love the boldness of fresh garlic in dressing; non-lovers may want to use just half a clove, or one small one. Will definitely make this again.

Pretty good. Would use less oil next time. Also subbed green pepper for the cucumber, white onion for the red, and sliced tomato for the cherries. Tasty!

This was excellent. I made it for a buffet lunch I was catering and it went over really well. I used canned sockeye salmon which worked really well. I also used more pasta, and the dressing was still sufficient, I didn't need to increase it.
