Very good flavor. It did make more than I needed, but you can scale it to your tastes. I took the advise of another user and replaced the mayo with plain, non-fat yogurt to greatly reduce the fat content. I added a squeeze of lemon to the yogurt to give it that tangy flavoring of real mayo. Other than that, I didn't change anything and it come out amazing! Great recipe, thanks!!!

I really liked this recipe. My gf and I, we both enjoy it a lot. The salmon was tender and flavorful. The spices accentuate the flavor of salmon and does not overwhelm the fish. However, we have been making it with low fat yogurt instead of mayonnaise (as suggested by some reviewers). I whole heartedly recommend this recipe to anyone who likes salmon.

My husband and I really enjoyed this recipe. I used the yogurt instead of the mayo and it turned out great. We served it wil steamed broccoli and the sauce was great on both. If you are eating low fat, the yogurt makes it better for you and you feel like you are indulging in a delicious sauce.

Easy and Great recipe. In New Zealand, Salmon is pricey. One does not want to ruin ones fish! This easy, simple sauce is perfect. My herbs were ALL fresh, so I altered accordingly. I used half the suggested amount of mustard. Also, I grilled the salmon, allowing some of the fish fat to drain. Served on a bed of cous cous, the easiest yummiest dinner this autumn! :-)

Super Delicious! You have to try this recipe! To make it healthy, I used non-fat plain yogurt instead of mayo. I also used dijon mustard instead of prepared. Just a sprinkling of salt and pepper on the salmon and that sums up the changes I made! The sauce is amazing! I ended up only preparing half of the sauce, as other reviewers suggested. It still makes plenty. This is definitely being added to my rotation. Thank you for this recipe!

A very very good recipe. The sauce was a bit overpowering... I think if I make this again (which I will!) I think I may half the sauce. I did sprinkle the salmon with sea salt before applying the sauce. Very moist.

This was fabulous! I didn't alter it much except that I didn't have fresh basil so I used dried. I also halved the mayo/mustard mixture to use on a 1 lb. filet (and it was done in 30 minutes). This was so tasty and tender. Thank you.

Very easy to make, but way too "mustardy". I used dijon mustard, substituted 1/3 of the mayo for plain yogurt and added pepper. On salmon it wasn't bad, but not on white fish which we tried with the leftover sauce (it made lots!). I'll be looking for another idea for fish.

Excellent. I halved the sauce and used all dried herbs. Other than that, I followed the recipe exactly. Turned out great when company came over for supper.

AWESOME! I have made salmon at home many times because my husband likes it, but I have never liked it and end up giving him my portion. I was skeptical, the sauce didn't sound very good. Proof is in the pudding, this was fantastic. There was extra sauce (and I cut it in half already), but so what.. it tasted wonderful. I did as some suggested and salted/peppered/garlic powdered the salmon filet before coating both sides. I will be making this again!!

WAY too much mayo!!!!! I like a little mayo on my fish, not a little fish under my mayo. The flavor was good, and I will do it again, but I will make a whole lot less sauce.

Overall, this dish is tasty, however I wished I had heeded previous reviewers' advice and cut the sauce in half. Even with 1/2 the sauce, there will still be plenty to dip your veggies in! In addition, I think I will use a little less mustard. While we are mustard fans, the mustard flavor was a little overpowering on the salmon.

I love salmon and make it at least once a week. Per the suggestions, I used nonfat plain yogurt instead of mayo and about half of the mustard. It was just SO much sauce. Even after scraping it off, I still didn't like the flavor of the fish.

Apart from the hilarious overestimation of the amount of sauce to make which others have mentioned (for which i believe 1/10th of the amount would suffice), I feel like this is a recipe to mask the flavor of salmon, not enhance it... 4 of us ate this meal and comments included "it tastes like good salmon and then this mayonnaise crusty stuff loosely floating on top.." I wanted to write this while I still have the taste in my mouth... I believe it would have been better to eat the salmon cooked bare...

This was fantastic! I seasoned the salmon with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and some lemon. Followed the recipe...it does make a lot. Family raved about it, I will make again! (I used the leftover sauce on boneless chicken breasts a few nights later, yum!)

This salmon/sauce combo was great! I even got my not-quite-three-year-old to take a couple bites and say, "It's yummy!" That's quite an accomplishment with the naturally strong flavor of salmon. I would agree with those who said the original recipe is WAY too much sauce--I halved the mayo and the mustard, coated the fillets all the way around and still had a little sauce left over (which I think it will be great on a ham sandwich later in the week!). I don't know what all the fuss is about with the mayo vs. yogurt, either; yes, yogurt is healthier, but I think in this case it's okay to splurge a little calorie-wise and go for the mayo like the recipe calls. The final flavor makes it all the more worth it!
