I love this recipe. To be fair, I do not follow the recipe exactly, rather I've changed it up thanks to the reviews. I add 1/3 can of cream of mushroom soup to the ground beef mixture along with seasoned salt, breadcrumbs, diced onions and some diced garlic. I also do not make the gravy as written in this recipe, I just make two packets of lipton onion and mushroom soup mix as the gravy, following the directions on the side of the box. After browning the patties in the skillet, I transfer to a casserole dish, pour sauce over the top and bake in the oven for about 30 minutes. Comes out sooooo moist and delish, it's indescribable! We eat with mashed potatoes and sister shubert rolls. MMMMM.

Low Fat version of recipe still very tasty! By using low-fat versions of ingredients I reduced this 32 grams of fat per serving recipe down to only 6 grams of fat! I utilized the same recipe except I substituted certain ingredients with their low-fat versions. I used 97% reduced fat beef, very lean, I used 98% fat free cream of mushroom (added to recipe based on other's recommendations) and it reduced the fat content substantially and still had a great taste! I personally would use half the amount of Worcestershire sauce if you are not a big fan of it like me. Other than that, great recipe, great meal!

My husband loved this dish! I did change one thing. I added double to the sauce mix. It just wasn't enough sauce the first time I made this. The second time I made this I made more sauce by using 2 french onion soup cans and also added 2 cans cream of mushroom soup. The differences were more sauce and the meat was softer than when I made it with less sauce. Also, I sauteed onions, mushroom, and garlic with the meat. It was delicious!

This meal is excellent. I do, however eliminate the water because my family likes the gravy/sauce with a potent flavor. Also, it helps keep the sauce/gravy thick. My husband enjoys this every time.

this is one of the few things I can actually say that both my husband and I loved and will definitely make again, Even though I didn't follow the recipe exactly I still got what I needed from other reviews so might as well still rate this 5 stars! I added minced garlic to the meat mixture. I didnt use the worcestershire sauce or ketchup for the sauce, instead I used the added cream of mushroom and packet of brown gravy mix and half a cup of water to the remaining french onion soup. After browning the patties in the skillet I put them in a glass baking dish, covered with the sauce and baked them in the oven at 375 for 30 minutes. Delicious!!

Amazing!! This recipe is going into my family cookbook. My husband gobbled up his food, and went up for seconds, and kept raving about how well he was "eating". Lol. Fairly easy to follow, as well.
