Awesome. I added onions like other reviewers suggested, and went easy on the salt. Definitely something I'll make again.

This is a great recipe for pork chops. I am somewhat picky about the way I like pork chops and before this, the recipes I would actually use for pork chops was around four - any other way and I didn't like them. My recipe number is now five. This is a deceptively simple recipe. It is simple and only has a few ingredients and a few directions, but the result is simple and delicious. This is a huge hit around my house and I get requests for the recipe often. This recipe is good for regular dinner rotation as well as a recipe for company. I highly recommend it.

loved it! such a nice sage flavour. I used only 1/4 teaspoon of salt alongside 1 teaspoon of sage and 1 teaspoon of pepper on 2 large bone-in chops. 2 cups of beef stock and cooked covered for 45 minutes after adding the stock. Just under 2 tablespoons of butter. What really made me happy was the gravy! I took the advice of other cooks and added 2 tablespoons of cornstarch mized with 2 tablespoons of cold water and it worked out so well! It didn't separate and it had so much flavour. This is amazing for gluten-free gravy... a miracle! Thank you for this recipe. Will make again many times.

This had good potential but it turned out really dry and salty for me. I plan to try it again but simmer the pork for a much shorter time and also not add the salt to the rub and just use one bouillon cube. You can always add more later. Could also use more sage.

These were soooo good! Extremely easy,as well. I do recommend cutting the salt back. I used boneless chops as they were on sale. I cooked my chops 3 minutes on each side, and simmered them 30 minutes instead of 45. I thickened the sauce with cornstarch and added onion and garlic powders, as well as more sage and black pepper. Wonderful served with rice, egg noodles or garlic potatoes. This was a huge hit with the family and will be added to our regular line up of quick family meals.

Cooked as recipe states except I think I messed up by using boneless pork chops. They were not bad... my husband and kids used bbq sauce though to flavor them up - ugh! Will try again with bone-in pork chops and am guessing this will make a pretty good difference. Will re-rate after 2nd attempt.

Mmmmm! Excellent recipe, I did as others advised and omitted the salt when coating the chops, and found the seasonings were perfect with the salt thats in the beef bouillon. I would definitely make this again!

A little too salty for my taste. But I thought this was an easy way to prepare pork chops with ingredients I actually had on hand. I thought it could've used a bit more sage as well.

I deep fried and simmered these chops last night, and I must say this is a good recipe. They were more tender than my usual way of cooking pork chops and they had a pretty nice flavor. I marinated them for an hour using 1 tsp. ea: kosher salt, ground black pepper, and ground sage. When I took the chops out of the fridge, they had a very nice aroma. I seasoned my flour w/ black pepper and saizon b/c I thought the sage may be overpowering. I always have to deep fry chops b/c I can't fry/saute them without the breading breaking up and falling apart. I also sprinkled on some saizon when I marinated them. Will keep this recipe in my rotation. Thanx.

Delish! I've made this a couple times, if your chops are thin decrease the cook time or else they will dry out...

Added rosemary and paparika to the rub. Also browned minced garlic in the butter. Finally instead of water and broth/cubes I used white wine and 1 tblsp of balsamic. I followed others suggestions and made a sauce by adding cornstarch/cold water. WOW!

I never liked pork chops because they always were too dry but this recipe makes them tender and flavorful. The key is using the bone-in center cut chops and the slow cooking time. I just used beef stock since I didn't have the cubes and didn't find it too salty at all.
