INGREDIENTS (Nutrition)

  • 3/4 cup butter, softened
  • 1 1/2 cups Pillsbury BEST® All Purpose Flour
  • 1 cup sugar, divided
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract, divided
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup almond brickle chips
  • 1/4 cup Smucker's® Caramel Spoonable Ice Cream Topping (optional)

DIRECTIONS

  1. Mix butter, 1/2 cup of the sugar and 1 teaspoon of the vanilla with electric mixer on medium speed until light and fluffy. Gradually add flour, mixing on low speed until blended. Press onto bottom of a 9x13 inch baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees F for 20 to 23 minutes until lightly browned.
  2. Mix cream cheese, remaining sugar and vanilla with electric mixer on medium speed until well blended. Add eggs; mix well. Stir in chips. Pour over crust. Drop teaspoonfuls of caramel topping over cream cheese mixture. Gently run a knife through the batter to swirl the caramel topping. Bake for 30 minutes more. Cool in pan on wire rack. Refrigerate. Cut into bars.

  • May also use Smucker's Hot Caramel Ice Cream Topping.
