Followed the recipe exactly and it is DELICIOUS! Also made it once using vegetable broth since a guest was vegetarian and it was just as good. So hearty! Thanks for a wonderful recipe!

Really hearty soup. I made vegetarian by using vegetable broth instead of chicken. I made it as is on the first try and it was fantastic. I played with it a few days later and added other root vegetables and it was still excellent. Easy and satisfying.

This was a pretty good soup. Next time I will chop the mushrooms instead of having slices.

Very easy and delicious! We don't care for dill, so we used parsley and a little tarragon, which was very tasty. I also used canola oil instead of butter and fat free Greek yogurt (stirred a teaspoon into each filled soup bowl) to make it more healthy. I skipped the flour too. Will definitely move this into our regular meal rotation!

LOVE this soup! I used an onion instead of the leeks as I didn't have any on hand. I also use milk instead of the half and half and it still came out delicious and creamy! The dill flavour is great, don't skimp out on it! It's super filling and easy to make too!

This recipe was delicious! I was somewhat doubtful because of the simplicity of ingredients, but it was extremely tasty. I followed the recipe exactly except for adding about 1/2 the dill. (Not a big dill fan).

I also don't understand the rave reviews. It was barely okay, no more. Too much dill for my taste. I won't make it again.

As others have noted, if you're not going to follow the recipe, don't downgrade the rating. If you mess it up, don't assume it's anyone else's fault! That said, this recipe is AWESOME! I added the sour cream as others suggested, but I think it would be equally delicious either way. My husband declared this the best soup ever, and I might agree - and I'm not even a mushroom soup fan. This dish is exceptionally good.

This soup rocked. I added some mini meatballs so that my husband would consider it a main dish but made the rest as published. The dill was fantastic. My two year old gobbled it up and asked for seconds.

Says my husband, "It's good. It's filling, smells good, but it's just not my first choice in soups." I tend to agree. I substituted the half-and-half with sour cream, and the leeks with one small onion, per other reviews. I wish this soup were thicker, and I'll have to play around with the amounts of flour to find the right consistency. No need to garnish with fresh dill - it's dilly enough at the end of cooking to not warrant it.

Delicious! I made this according to the recipe and the flavor was amazing! It had kind of a buttery flavor and the dill was perfect, not too strong. This is going to be a regular in my kitchen. Easy to make, too.

This stuff is amazing. I used portabella mushroom, onion instead of leeks, and vegetable broth. This soup is definitely comforting and delicious. I wouldn't change a thing about it if you don't have to due to lack of ingredients.

Delicious, a wonderful rainy day feel good soup. Hubby likes it thicker, more stew like - a couple tbs of minute tapioca made it perfect for him.

EXCELLENT! Even my hubby loved it, and he is not a fan of potato soup. The only things I changed were that I used green onion instead of leeks (to cut down on cost), and I used less butter and 1% milk to reduce the calorie count. Will definitely make this again!!!
