A really easy and delicious recipe! I used fresh pears. The pears needed to cook longer than stated but next time I will probably use the canned pears. I topped this with "Supreme Strawberry Topping" from this site instead of the Cranberry Sauce - It was a big hit!

This is a tasty alternative to traditional cranberry sauce with an interesting sweetness and spiciness. It was a big hit at a pot luck with rave reviews from the guests.

This is great...after the first thanksgiving that I made it, the family kept asking me to make it again and again. It's a side dish that compliments a heavy holiday meal well because it is light and is a simple twist on something traditional.

This is goes great with holiday brunch!! You can also use gingerale and seedless red raspberry jam instead of cranberry sauce. I did not have gingerale so the cranberry sauce is a good sub. Lori
