Love it! Made it the first time strictly according to the recipe. It was good, but a little too sweet for me. So I reduced the sugar to 4 cups; Mom always told me that "a cup to a cup" (juice to sugar) was enough to assure jelling. Worked great, and the apple flavor seems to come through better with a little less sugar.

Loved this recipe! Very easy! I used Trader Joe's Spiced Apple Cider and Trader Joe's Cherry Cider two cups each. It was perhaps a little cloudy but still very pretty and it was SO GOOD! I am making another batch today using just cherry cider. I am going to add a few drops of red food coloring as well to see the result. I got 7 1/2 8 oz jars from this recipe which was fine. I put up seven and kept the half to eat right away! Will definitely be using for gifts this year. Will also taste wonderful over brie cheese. Thanks for a great recipe!

I agree that the jelly was a little murky but then...that's apple cider for you! We loved this jelly. We thought it was a fabulous tasty delicious treat. No problems getting it to set or anything! Thanks for a great recipe! I think next time I might try to add the food coloring to see if we can get a rosier color...but the taste is fabulous! I will definitely make this again!

Overall very good taste. The clarity is a bit off but that is because the cider is a little murky looking. I did add a couple of drops of red food coloring to improve the color and it will make extremely nice Christmas gifts to friends and family. Easy recipe! It yielded me 7 half-pints.

I made this jelly last year, but I couldn't remember where I had gotten the recipe. Thank you, Regina, for submitting this as I would have been in BIG trouble if I hadn't made it this year! This is the easiest jelly I have ever made and everybody loved it. I gave it in holiday baskets and it is delish. The lovely rosy color is a plus too. Try this one; you won't be sorry.
