I tried this the first time with thighs and it tasted amazing on the outside, but marinade didn't penetrate into the meat very well (it WAS nice and tender though). You really need to have small pieces for the flavor impact, but it's well worth it because this marinade is delicious!! The vinegar sounded strange at first, but don't leave it out. Follow the recipe as-is and you're sure to have a winner. If you like this chicken marinade I highly recommend a beef recipe: "Best Steak Marinade in Existence" posted by user Kookie. These 2 are the last marinades I'll ever use! Thanks for posting!
