Original Recipe Yield 5 pounds of shrimp
 

Ingredients

  • 5 pounds shell-on medium shrimp
  • 1/3 cup mustard seed (such as McCormick®)
  • 2 tablespoons seasoned salt (such as McCormick Season All®)
  • 2 tablespoons dry mustard powder
  • 10 tablespoons prepared yellow mustard
  • 2 teaspoons ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon celery salt
  • 4 cups beer
  • 2 cups distilled white vinegar
  • 2 bay leaves

Directions

  1. Place the shrimp, mustard seed, seasoned salt, mustard powder, black pepper, and celery salt into a large pot and bring to a boil. Turn the heat off and stir in the bay leaves. Let cool slightly before draining and serving.
