Absolutely delightful. Guests will think you slaved for hours. Didn't change a thing and won't. A welcome and simple change for chicken.

I did not like this recipe. I love artichokes, love mushrooms, love capers and wine, just didn't like this combination. I think it was the reserved marinade from the artichokes. I won't make this again. Even from the photo I was suspicious if I would even like it, but so many people raved about it, I thought it had to be at least ok. Just not for me.

I adjusted the recipe with heavy cream and some cornstarch and doubled the artichokes and mushrooms as other had suggested and it was simply fabulous served over angel hair pasta. Both my husband and I kept comparing it to all of our favorite restaurants and rated it as good as any similiar type meal we'd have out. Thank you! PS: He has always been "ambivalent" about artichokes but is eagerly awaiting the next time I make this one.

My roommate first made this recipe and it was so good. The sauce is very runny but I just added to a rue and made more of a gravy out it. It is really good served with mashed potatoes.

This was great. I used vermouth instead of wine, which I totally prefer in cooking. Also, others complained the sauce was a little thin, so I dredged the chicken in seasoned flour before I browned it & the sauce was just thick enough. I will do this again.

BLAND! Looked better than it tasted. I had to keep adding seasonings to it to try and salvage my meal, but not what I expected. Definetly needs garlic. A bit too watery of a sauce too.

Not bad but the sauce is a little too sour for our taste. I think it is due to using the reserved artichoke liquid. If I make again, I will cut back on the reserved liquid. Thanks

I made this dish for Valentine's Day, and it was a big hit. We had leftovers for a few days, and it was just as good, if not better, the following day. The flavors really came alive. If you love artichoke's, it's a good one!

I'm a huge fan of every ingredient in this recipe, but together they just didn't work for me. The capers made the entire dish too acidic and salty. The sauce never thickened even after I added a tablespoon of cornstarch. And unfortunately, the chicken had very little taste. Maybe served over pasta and taking out the chicken all together would work better.

This was great 'as-is' except I didn't have capers. I did not add milk or cream because I have milk allergies. I did not thicken the sauce. I served for valentines day dinner, with mushroom & onion orzo, and asparagus spears. We drizzled some of the sauce over the asparagus and drank the rest of the bottle of wine. Yummy. I think if you think this was bland, you might be using plain canned artichokes instead of marinated, or your wine might not be dry enough. Reminds me of chicken picatta. I'll do this probably once a month.

This was great with a few changes, I doubled the artichokes, mushrooms, oil, and butter, added cream and corn starch to thicken sauce. Next time I make I think I will cube the chicken after browning and see if a can of cream of mushroom soup will thicken the sauce

My husband really enjoyed this dish. I did add garlic to the butter and oil while browning the chicken. Served over angel hair pasta. Next time going to see how it turns out in a slow cooker.
