I tried this recipe and they just not crunchy enough! I was very disappointed. And not enough flavor at all!

Perfect enough for me. If you like a more salted flavor, boil in salt water or salt more often. I followed the recipe and it was perfect.

I think I used olive oil instead of butter and dried them overnight first. Stirred every 15 minutes. Watch time - I used 275 degrees and took 45 min since dried first.

This was great! I used sea salt (more than a pinch) and let them dry for 24 hours.

It was ok. I have never had these, similar to sunflower seeds I guess :) Did ours with Garlic Salt & pepper.

These were delicious!! I did make the following adjustments per other reviews: 1) I boiled the seeds in salted water for 20 minutes (it really does clean the seeds well,) 2) I then laid them out on a cookie sheet overnight to dry, 3) The next morning I mixed them with 1 tablespoon salt, 1 tablespoon melted butter and 1 tablespoon olive oil and 4) I spread the coated seeds on a cookie sheet and baked them for 30 minutes at 300 degrees. They were perfect!!!!

Just made a batch and their great! I tossed them in butter and salt and then every 15 minutes took them out of the oven, shook them around, and added a little more salt. Simple and YUMMY!

I wish I would have read all the reviews before cooking mine. Even though I was stirring every few min. I sat down to have lunch and by the next 10 min. they were burnt. A shame because I think they would have been GREAT. In my oven I don't think they need more than 25 minutes. I will attempt another batch later this week as I have more pumpkin pies to make :) i'll be sure to come back and re-review this recipe.

These were really good. I mixed a bunch of tips from other reviews and they came out perfectly! I boiled them in salt water for about 30 minutes, then let them dry on paper towels overnight, then used both butter and olive oil, and added granulated garlic and white pepper. Since I changed it so much, I gave four stars, not five. I cannot imagine it with just salt.

This was great! Only reason I gave it 4 stars is because I don't really like pumpkin seeds, but my honey gobbled them up.

We had a pumpkin on our fall harvest table in daycare and cut it open yesterday to examine it. We toasted the pumpkin seeds and they are absolutely addictive - I wish it had been a bigger pumpkin! I used seasoning salt. I also boiled them for 30 seconds as suggested by another reviewer to remove any residual pumpkin strings.
