so yum. great way to enjoy broccoli. i particularly enjoy how the roasting process offers even more of a variety in tastes and textures than the vegetable already inherently possesses. i ended up roasting it on the high end of the time suggestion, cause i like the smaller bits coming out a little charred and crispy. i added a dash of essence of emeril, two cloves of garlic, and a minced shallot to this original recipe. and then tossed them with gomasio (sesame seeds and sea salt, i use 'eden organic' brand). so good. my husband and i have recently transitioned to veganism and its versatile recipes with snackable qualities like this one that really help us stay on track and keep things interesting. thanks, nerdycheesecake for this simple, yet 'aha!' moment type recipe. delish.
