I did not add the milk (lactose-intolerant) and doubled the noodles, chicken and added extra broth. It tasted good, but was thick like a stew not a soup.

This was amazingly easy and delicious. Double the recipe for one whole chicken and, if you're lucky, leftovers for the next day.

This was really good. I doubled the spices because we love flavor, and it was not overwelming at all. Instead of ev. milk I used half and half. I also used frozen egg noodles to give it more of a "homemade" feel. I also added two extra cups of chicken broth. It was still so thick. We even served it on plates and called it Chicken and noodles. Oh yea, I used rosted chicken that was already done that I picked up at the store. There was plenty of chicken left over for sandwhiches! My 4 year old said it was "The Best EVER!" can't get much better then that!

A very tasty, satisfying dish! A great "shopping day" dish. Prep your onions and carrots before leaving then it will be very quick to make after a long day of shopping.

This was great... I made a huge pot with a grocery store brand smoked chicken.... it gave the whole soup a nice smoky flavor which was delicious... the only change was that I only used half the amount of potatoes... and I made my own noodles from scratch... the entire batch was delicious!

First time I've ever made soup and my whole family loved it! Only made a few changes- I didn't have any evaporated milk, so I used half 2% and half cream- turned out lovely! Also, we're a salt/garlic loving family, so I added garlic salt too. Thanks for making my first soup a success!

Soup had a good flavor overall, but would not use potatoes again as they made the soup taste kind of starchy. In addition, the yolk-free noodles had an odd flavor & texture. Loved the creamy broth, though! Thanks for the recipe!

This was weird, at first I didn't like it that much but then it grew on me. It's good but I'm not a huge fan of garlicy stuff so I probably should have eased up on that. Overall it's a good recipe, my boyfriend really liked it. Just not quite what I'm looking for in a Chicken Noodle Soup. Thanks though.

My grandson said that this was the best soup I'd ever made. My husband said it was the best he'd ever had! Great recipe. The only changes I made were to add lots of pepper, poultry seasoning and dry chicken rub to the breasts before roasting. I also added about 2 cups more chicken broth than called for and some peas. I only added three Yukon potatoes. I will be making this again! Thanks for the recipe.

One of the best chicken soup recipes I've tried! Easy to tailor to your tastes. Next time I'll use a waxy potato like Yukon or Red, add a little more broth. I used some white pepper, a little more salt and chicken bouillon. Delicious

This is really lovely soup, I made it with a leftover rotisserie chicken that I boiled down for stock. Didn't have poultry seasoning, added a pinch of paprika and used a bit more salt. Subbed broccoli stalks for the celery and threw in some chopped broccoli heads. Used bowtie pasta and regular milk. So you can see its a really flexible recipe. It turned out just gorgeous, like a tasty house soup from a nice cafe. Will be making more most definitely.

This was wonderful! The evening I was cooking this, my husband was on another floor of our house working and he yelled down to me, "Whatever you're making smells like Thanksgiving dinner. It smells great!" I tasted great too. Will definiately make again.

This is the best chicken noodle soup I have made, very good! I didn't change anything, except I forgot to get potatoes and decided to try it without them, I'll try it with potatoes next time even though I thought it was great without. I loved the creaminess of the broth. I used a roasted chicken from the grocery store, this was a very simple recipe that is very good, just the way I like it!
