I a actually surprised at the number of people who mentioned worrying about dryness - I did not use a drop of water and followed the recipe exactly, and it came out perfectly. I love lamb but rarely prepare it, and this was my first leg. Will do this again ... was wonderful, without having to change a thing!

I made this in the crockpot and it came out AMAZING. I coated the (5.5lb) lamb in the seasonings, then put it in the crockpot with enough water to cover about 3/4 of the way up the side of the roast. I set it on low for about 6 hours and it was delicious! Well-seasoned, juicy and super tender. A huge hit!

My first time ever to even see a Leg of Lamb to cook. My family here in Egypt fix it quite often. They loved it. Was tender and they all said it was the best they've eaten. Quite a compliment coming from ones that know about it. But now I have the job of fixing my nephew's Leg of Lamb that he has. I didn't have any marjoram and I did mix a little oil with the spices and put it in the scored lamb. Thanks for the recipe.

Yummy! I also slow cook it in the crockpot. Added some water and white wine to keep it moist.

This was perfect. I did mine in the crockpot on low for 4 hours with carrots and celery. Delicious!

Wonderful recipe with a few seasonings that I haven't used in the past but found they added such a nice flavor. We pulled it at 140 as my family enjoys it a bit more on the pink side. The drippings made an delicious gravy. Thanks Sharon!

This was easy and came out absolutely perfect! I put in a large roasting pan and added water before and halfway through cooking to keep the moisture level up in the oven. Will use this again - would make a wonderful and different Christmas or Easter dinner main course!

This is easy to make, but it is way too dry and tasteless when it comes out. Sorry.
