Excellent! I quartered the recipe (8 servings) for generously frosting 12 cupcakes and still had plenty left over. I didn't add any extra milk, since spreading isn't much of an issue for cupcakes, and I loved the way it dolloped.

AMAZING! This frosting is rich, delicious, and fantastic! I have nothing but good things to say about this frosting! I made it in a pinch to spruce up some brownies and it was quick and perfect! I'd give it ten stars if I could!

Sweet and delicious! I made a half batch to drizzle over Sweet 'N' Delicious Chocolate Cake (also on All Recipes) last night and had plenty left over to ice another cake.

Absolutely divine! I halved the recipe and only used 1/4 c. milk for my 9x13 cake. The result was the most rich and creamy chocolate frosting I've ever had! An immediate favorite!

so so so good. Used to frost One Bowl Chocolate Cake III also on this site. I actually didn't have enough cocoa powder for what the recipe called for, but it still tasted superb - like a wendy's frosty!! yummy! I will make again with the full recommended cocoa powder amount, which I'm sure will taste just as good if not better!

I made this last night and it was delicious on cupcakes! The frosting was rich, chocolaty, and creamy. Just perfect. I cut all the ingredients in half and it was still WAY too much for 24 cupcakes. Next time I make 24 cupcakes I will make 1/4 of the amount. Thanks for this recipe!

This frosting is great! It is delicious and so easy! I had a too-crumbly chocolate cake and the frosting covered it up and didn't tear the cake.

I felt like this took forever to make (it was my first time making my own frosting, so I was comparing it to opening a can of fake stuff), and I had to add the milk earlier than the recipe called for because my mixer was practically crying, but man, did I love this frosting. I would seriously eat it plain if I didn't feel like it would make me a worse human being. Thanks so much for the recipe!

This is the first time I made chocolate frosting and so I have nothing to compare it to, BUT I think it's great!! I will be using this until I find something better(if I do). I used this over chocolate cake for my hubby who wanted chocolate cake so much.

I made this for a cake I took to work...it was demolished. I "halved" the recipe and used 4 1/4 c. sugar and 1 1/2 c cocoa; it made it very fudgy and not overly sweet. Also, very easy!! YUMMY!!

I'm not a huge man of frosting and neither is my husband so going through and finding one that worked was a little bit hard. I changed mine a little bit, cut it in half to start and added more chocolate. I will have to say this is the best frosting recipe I have fond thus far and will be sticking to this one for more than a little while. Works well everyday or on days where we have people coming over... like today... thanks!

OMG, rich, thick, delicious. This is how frosting should taste. I used Dagoba organic cocoa and it is rubber scraper lickin good!!!! I added more milk (oat milk) since it was pretty thick. I also listened to the other reviews and addded a 1/4 cup more cocoa and 1/4 cup less sugar, mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

I love this recipe! I found it to be fluffy and very spreadable. My family liked it so much, it has become a favorite. I didn't have any problems with the cocoa flavoring. I just beat it for an extra few minutes and it blended in beautifully.

I was scared it would be too sweet, but I loved it. I put it on chocolate cake and served it with ice cream. You need the ice cream because it's rich, but delicious!
