Great recipe. I took these to a meeting and they disappeared before any other of the goodies. A wonderful butterscotch smell and taste. Will be making these often.

I was pleasantly surprised by these. I love butterscotch but I know sometimes in baked goods it can get overly sweet. These were the perfect balance! The filling was creamy and plain which let the crust shine without putting you into sugar shock. I will make these again!

I will be making these often and for everyone! So amazingly delicious! The butterscotch crust is genius and devine. Next time I'm going to try making an extra 1/2 batch of just the crust, so I'm not hunting thru the bars for the best ones with the most crust :-) And I may try the pecans on top, instead of mixed in the cream cheese, just because I didn't like how they softened and swelled. So happy to have found this recipe...thanks for sharing!

These were so yummy! I used low fat cream cheese and added some chocolate chips to the filling. I chilled for two hours before trying them - couldn't imagine they would taste any good warm or even room temp. Make sure to line the pan with foil for easy clean-up.

Did not have any trouble with these sticking, like some other people have. I greased my pan with crisco. Followed recipe exactly. Put into the fridge for about 2 hours before trying to cut. Was a fantastic easy recipe to make! A keeper for sure!! Thanks for the great recipe.

they are very good, I sprinkled choc chips over the crust and the result pleased everybody. Remember to put some foil under the crust or they'll stick all right to the pan:-)

I made these four days ago from another website...they're gone already and there's only the three of us in our household!! So good I wanted to post--strongly recommend!! They are hard to remove, so a wrap or extra pam or something is necessary!!

We love butterscotch and this is a great alternative to oatmeal scotchies and blonde brownies. They are best tasting chilled, but it works well to cut them after they've chilled for a bit but not completely. Thank you!

My husband liked these alot, but it should be noted these should not be served before chilling in the refridgerator. I didn't chill mine and served at room temp after baking and they just fell to pieces. We put them in the fridge over night and the next day they were great.
