Rice, Oat, and Almond Crust

Wonderful for restricted diets, this pie has no wheat or dairy, but other tasty ingredients: rolled oats, raw almonds, brown rice flour, a bit of almond oil and sweetener. The dough is simply mixed and pressed into a 9-inch pie tin. Try it with a rhubarb or berry pie filling.

This is the recipe for my grandma's rice. Being Hispanic, this is about as Mexican as you can get. Good as a side dish, or in a taco with ground beef.

Rice pudding made with raisins and just a dash of nonfat milk. Simple, yet easy rice recipe. My family doesn't like plain rice, so we had to come up with something different.
